This is in response to the article and those who scoff at paying 59.99 for TLOU. Here are your options: One - pay 59.99. Two - wait for it to be released on Playstation Now probably 5 bucks for a 2 or 3 day rental. Since Sony has been mostly on top of their business dealings, I can only assume that Sony will unveil Playstation Now within the same time frame they'll be releasing the digital and hard copies of the game. Just an educated guess.

It's available for pre-order from Sony Entertainment Network and Amazon for 59.99. And yes, i'll be paying for it twice.

The game already looks great on ps3, why would anyone expect anything less than 1080p/60fps on the ps4?

Yea. I expect that porting this game to the ps4 will increase sales. This is one game where the hype is actually well deserved. There is no way anyone can find fault in the graphics, controls, story, or gameplay. Maybe a few glitches here and there but nothing so serious that it would effect the quality of the game. Me and a few other people started posting about a Last Of Us port in January on the Playstation forums and the response has been great.

Millions of people have never played this game on ps3. I gave my ps3 away before I could finish TLOU. And since I did it, I've been longing for the game ever since. Lucky me Sony pays attention to their forums and other forums around the net. The demand for the game on ps4 is there. There is absolutely no denying that fact.

Naughty Dog and Sony have upped the ante with Xbox1. Now all ND and Sony have to do is release the game during the summer, (June or July) offer TLOU in ps4 bundles and score a delicious public relations coup d'état for the Playstation 4. Xbox1 will never recover.

I'd say Sony's total PS4 sales will be closer to 20 million by years end... Destiny, The Division, and now The Last Of Us Remastered Edition, will ensure that number is reached by the 2014 Christmas season...

With the Last Of Us now confirmed to be coming to the PS4, that's just one more reason why more gamers will choose the PS4 over XBOX1. If Sony is smart, they'll get the remastered version done asap and make a new PS4 bundle. I'm sure Microsoft was wishing that TLOU wasn't an exclusive. Titanwho?

No Sony isn't in trouble. They make plenty of money off of the playstation, financial, music, and motion pictures divisions which are all profitable. The only division that is consistently losing money is Sony Electronics.

Check Amazon. They definitely have the best prices on NEW PS4 games.

Infamous Deserves the number one spot. Sucker Punch did a great job. I hope they have something else in the works.

The wait is almost over! If Sony was smart, they'd bundle TLOU with the PS4. Now to complete my day, let's see some news about Dying Light, Whistleblower, and The Division...

I have no idea why anyone would believe that software, such as directX, would ever be capable of "doubling" the performance of hardware.

Even the article is quick to point out the only thing that possibly may happen as a result of implementing DirectX 12; "Meanwhile, Microsoft's Xbox One has been well received but has been criticized for being measurably behind Sony's Playstation 4 in terms of game performance. Microsoft has responded with DirectX 12. W...

The notion that software can double the performance of hardware is nonsense. I'm no tech guru, but I do understand the difference between hardware and software. Now if someone claims that DX 12 will result in improved graphics during software development, now that is something someone can believe.

Good luck Microsoft...

Lemme think for a second. This is a tough one... Hmmm...

Yes, Playstation 4 is secretly the better console...

I guess the Xbox One is no longer and "All-In-One" entertainment console? LOL When I want entertainment, I get a set top box or go to the movies. When I buy for the next generation gaming console, my primary focus is playing video games. Netflix, HULU, and the like are secondary considerations, or perks and do not influence my choice in gaming consoles, AT ALL.

The Xbox one will never be capable of narrowing the performance gap with the ps4 simply because the Xbox one does not have the hardware.

You see the problem with telling part of the story is that the real story never gets told.

The only reason xbox1 has the Esram is that Xbox1 makers discovered that using GDDR5 would raise the price tag of the Xbox1, so they jury-rigged DDR3 with Esram to keep the price tag of the xbox1 down. Yes Esram is faster than GDDR5, but the added "speed" (which is extremely marginal at best) still isn't enough to out perform the PS4's 18 Graphics processing units. Feel free to disagree Fanboys.
