Video games being the cause of a suicide? Unlikely. Mental health issues is a more likely cause.
These companies act like gamers have bottomless pockets. Instead of creating F2P or just as bad, microtransactions, just charge a monthly fee of 5 or 10 bucks and make a great game. I tried the F2P model for months with DC Universe Online. Once I had my character's combat rating up to around 80, I was forced to either spend more money leveling up so I could continue the game or join a league and hope that someone will help me raise my combat rating so that I could successfully fight in hi...
I don't think gamestop has much to worry about. Consoles have an inherent limitation, harddrive space.
Yep. Decent is the perfect description for watch dogs. 7/10
The lineup for Xbox One isn't looking so great either, especially for the next few months.
Ryse sucks. And Microsoft does too. The end.
Politics and religion has no place in gaming. Take your issues to Fox News Network. They will be more than happy to humor you.
This game has some of everything in it. And that is it's main problem. Watch Dogs is trying to be something different to everyone who plays it. Whether it succeeds in that attempt or not depends on how well a sequel sells. Right now, if the game has a sequel cut from the same mold as the original, I would have to pass.
I remember playing Starflight when I was in my early 20's. Drifter reminds me of that game. Show me the game and i'll show you my money!
Hopefully the main protagonist or main characters aren't carrying guns, has no multiplayer and it has a turn based battle system or a battle system like Vagrant Story. If not I don't want it. The action rpgs i've played lately aren't very good or they were slightly above average like Bound By Flame.
All jokes aside, anyone who commits an act of violence after playing a violent video game or watching a violent movie obviously has mental health issues. It's also safe to assume that those mental health issues existed long before they saw the movie or played the game and acted out. These beliefs are made by people and parents who refuse to take responsibility for not paying attention to what their children are doing. Stop whining! Stop blaming others for your problems! And Grow UP!
Sony's relentless hype machine is unstoppable. Microsoft doesn't stand a chance.
Sony should give every member of their "hype machine" (PR Team) a raise or a bonus check. These ideas they're using to create hype and interest are brilliant!
It looks like Ryse reloaded. The gameplay sucks in that game too.
Why would anyone try to compare a multiplatform game to a game designed solely for one console? Infamous has the best graphics of the two hands down. Infamous doesn't have as much going on in the city streets as Watch Dogs, but how is that a bad thing? You're not playing against the city or the npc's, you're playing against enemy Ai and completing missions.
Graphics downgrade on a first party developed game? I disregard the words of people who have no idea what they're talking about, especially people who complain about graphics on a game that's also being developed on last generation consoles or people who complain about downgraded graphics after watching a stream that lasts for less than 3 minutes.
Soooo? FallOut 4? Begging won't do any good will it?

Developers seem to think that multiplayer is a selling point. Developers need to take the hint from Bethesda. Leaving multiplayer out will leave more room for a better story, variety during gameplay, and increased length of the game which makes a game replayable. I don't think developers will pay attention, they'll just continue adding useless multiplayer modes to games and we the gamers lose out.
Sony has the right idea. You can never have too many friends in this industry, especially friends that may possibly create the next Uncharted, TLOU, Fallout, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Outlast, and many more games that reek of originality and depth. Bring on the INDIES!!!!
Playing video games relieves stress and helps one gather their thoughts. It is an escape of sorts, but it is in no way the cause of a mental illness. Drug addiction, alcohol abuse, physical and mental abuse/trauma do cause mental illnesses or worsen a mental condition that already exists. When people try to blame something for their problems there usually is an underlying reason and sometimes an ulterior motive(s), money and notoriety.
