Alan Wake is a niche game. I predicted it would have the same impact as Dead Space, a quality game that just doesn't get the numbers you would think. No multiplayer, plus it is in the horror genre which isn't the most popular genre.

Conan was pretty fun (multiconsole though). You just have to adjust your expectations, but the gameplay was fun. Boss battles were a bit annoying in some cases.
Sony is in a bit of a chicken and an egg situation with 3D. Do they allow consumer support on 3D TV's to rise and then create content or create content in hopes it increases consumer 3D TV sales. You can't have one without the other and both drive each other. Don't forget that Greenburg mentioned existing XBoxes need a separate power supply for Kinect (The new slim can power it with its power supply). How much will this new power supply cost? I can definitely see you having to pick that up for $20.00 more.

There was mention in the after interview with GTTV from Aaron Greenburg that the existing 360's need an additional power supply for Kinect but the newer 360's can power it with no additional supply. Not sure how much additional cost this new supply will add.

Great, so Sony has a 3D agenda and the PS3 is a critical vehicle to push it. I hope E3 is not centered around 3D gaming. That would be a huge misstep by Sony. 3D TV's are in the early adopters stage right now. 3-5 years out from being anywhere near an affordable price for the everyman and then 5+ years out from starting to gain momentum. Wrong time to put eggs in that basket.
