I can't believe a title of this quality may never come westward…talk about depressing.
BOARDING THE HYPE TRAIN FOR A GAME WE MAY NEVER GET!!!! CHOO CHOO MOFOS
360 and ps3 sales account for like 6% of overall sales of MGS5. You can't really use that to say it did a lot worse.
Someone clearly hasn't watched Ghost in the Shell...
That moment when someone criticizes Kojima while repping one of his absolute best characters as their profile pic…
Wait hold on didn't the first game get released recently on steam with solid sales? Maybe that convinced them to make another console outing? Now I'm just dreaming
Pachinko here we come!!!! Oh wait wrong company….Mobile, here we go!!!!
Your name really suits you
Oh my bad. Well Nier's combat was just average, and the game ran at like 25fps so that didn't help it.
Bro you serious? Nier's combat was its glaring flaw. Fun? sort of. But actually good? Nah. Platinum will fix that tho
Taro is writing the script so check there. Okabe doing the soundtrack so check there. Taro is directing so the overall tone of the game should be good. check there. Platinum to come in and fix the technical issues and overall mediocre combat. Check there as well. So yeah this is a match made in heaven.
Capcom should look at the sales of MGS5. 95% of sales came from current gen consoles, and 5% of sales came from last gen. Japan needs to realize that everyone has moved on to next gen except for them.
Well Drake is a much better character than Lara for what its worth...
Can someone explain to me what separates this game from other Jrpgs? Im interested in it, but not really sure what makes it so exciting to people. Is it the story/characters?
@Septic
No. If he couldn't tell the story he wanted to tell then kickstarted would be the problem, but its clearly not. He is basically saying this game won't look like Uncharted 4. By your logic, thats like saying every middle tier developer is "encumbered" because they can't push as many polygons as FFXV, UC4, etc. Graphics are only one part of a game, and as long as they are good enough to tell the story he wants, there is no problem.
Anyone expecting cutting edge graphics from a kickstarted open-world video game aren't worth trying to please in the first place. Suzuki made the right call.
I am probably one of like 10 people that actually are far more interested in wolfenstein games than fallout. In fact, I like all of bethesda's acquired studios more than their in-house works.
Attack on Titan is really popular in the West too so no doubt it gets localized.
Dat medicore combat doe...
