You are quite correct. The Xbox 360 GPU was capable of 77 GFlops while the Xbox One is at 1.33 TFlops or 1033 GFlops which is 13.4 time more floating point calculations on the Xbox One per second. The Xbox One memory also has 7.5 times the bandwidth of the Xbox 360.

So if there is any limitation to the Xbox One version it is due to the SDK and drivers which are being updated.

Now if someone wants to take Thuway's rumor over the developers statement then...

I am well aware of why the fake ad was made and said it was quite funny.

I was also making a joke that it was pretty funny that this was the only come back from the slate of announcements and rumours that have given a lot of hype to the Xbox. I don't recall saying they were awesome, attention grabbing games though, you said that. So apparently you think that they are awesome attention grabbing games seeing how that statement came from your head. I do have to agree with...

I have to admit that it is kind of comical.

That being said it is also comical that this is the only response available to the massive amount of game hype that MS has been receiving of late.

Don't get me wrong it I only fair to make a few jabs at the competition when things are dry on your side of the fence and I fully expect the same thing to happen when Sony is getting a ton of attention due to a slew of announcements while MS fans are feeling less ca...

Oh, the jealousy and bitterness of some is almost palatable. It is getting so thick that you can almost cut it with a knife and it is only getting more desperate and comical the closer we get to TitanFall.

LOL. The only thing that these rumours and articles are doing is to fan the flames of desire among those waiting to hear those three words for themselves, "Prepare for TitanFall".

Nothing and I mean nothing galvanizes a group of gamers more t...

Here is the truth of the matter plain and simple:

Fans of the game want more games but do not want a repeat of what happened with Gears of War Judgement. They love the Gears franchise, the graphics, the story, and the game play.

Those owners who did not like the franchise really could not care as they just won't buy it.

That leaves just one group that does not want to see new Gears of War games. If you can't get it in one guess you ...

The Xbox Division is making money too actually. They have been profitable for several years now and this gen they are selling the consoles at a slight profit. That is a first as every other Xbox was sold for a loss in the first few years.

What you are getting confused about is that the Xbox Division still has not gotten to a point where they have paid off the total investment in creating the Xbox Brand. Xbox Division has been making a profit for years. In fact Xbox Live...

@erathaol What is wrong with a disc-less version? No one said it would be the only version. It would allow them to sell two skus with one at a cheaper price point while still maintaining a sku with the drive for those not ready to go all digital.

Many people would love to go all digital. I personally by discs and use digital downloads and find both work well.

As long as both options are there it is a great idea.

I agree that as an option it would be a good idea for consumers that want to go all digital and don't care about the Blu-Ray drive. So long as the option to purchase the Xbox One with the Blu-Ray drive remains.

You would have to make sure that consumers knew very well what they are getting into. If you don't want online DRM and/or want to be able to play Blu-Ray discs then you have to pony up the extra cash to buy the model with the Blu-Ray. If you don't care a...

All of the gaming companies innovated right back to the first gen of consoles. The biggest recent and most wide sweeping innovations was Xbox Live. Whether you like them putting some no gaming services behind a paywall or not it was Microsoft that created the first sustainable online gaming model for consoles period. Were they the first to come up with the idea no but they were the first with the vision, balls, and money to get all of the developers and publishers to get on board and opera...

I agree that for MP they need to stick close to their roots but it is pretty much impossible to have a twitch shooter with a 3rd person game.

I would not lump Halo in with COD as it was a great MP game until Halo 4 tried to copy COD.

Halo and Gears were my favourite MP games until they tried to hang on COD's coat tails.

Same here. I haven't used if for the exercise app but everything else. Still game on the 360, PS3 and WiiU but the Xbox One sees way more use.

I think that they really want to capture that IPhone type ecosystem where the Xbox and MS just seem like another part of your everyday life and only 2 months in they are making a good go of it.

The Division and Quantum Break for 2014 with what we have seen so far.

Ryse and Killzone were really good for launch games.

I am not sure why everyone is being so negative about this. If you are a Sony fan then why do you even give a shit? The fact that they are going to provide more resources is a good thing.

MS stated well before the launch that the 10% reserve was going to be changed once they had time to optimize the system. They initially made the reserve 10% because they were not sure what they were going to need and that it would drop. It will also have zero effect on Kinect functions. <...

I disagree with Halo as it is a big universe and has lots of room for games. That does not mean that all of the Halo games are for everyone or that they have all been as good as the first 3. Halo 4's major let down for a lot of people was the online multiplayer. The campaign was fairly solid. If 343 take the criticism they have received properly then we should see a real blockbuster this time.

GoW Judgement was definitely milking though. This new game though, provide...

Wow, so many trolls today. LOL. If you guys don't have anything to play on your super system you should Tweet Super Yoshida and ask him to get you some games. Oh, that's right he is probably too busy sitting in some Japanese titty bar laughing about how much money he duped you guys out of for a console with hardly any games.

It is really sad that you have to wait until E3 7 months after your console launched to see if you are going to get any decent exclusive IP ...

@DEEBO
You either have something wrong with your Kinect or you need to do the set up again.

My brother had that issue with his. He took it back and got another one and it has worked great ever since.

I have never had an issue with mine. Since Christmas I have had to repeat Xbox One twice to get it to turn on. I have lots of background noise in my house with my kids running around, playing music, watching TV, etc. The Xbox One is used for hours ...

I think that a fair bit of your argument may be correct. At least the parts about Epic baiting MS and the Xbox community wanting it to stay exclusive.

The one point I would make is that Phil thought the game had run its course on the 360. Here is a section of the article by IGN:

He said the series "did kind of run its course on 360," and that its story doesn't support as many games as the Halo series. That is, at least in its current incarnati...

I agree. Not that TitanFall really needs any more hype but it would be wise for them to have a Beta before the mad rush hits the servers and starts stress testing their code.

Nothing could be worse than for the game to launch and then have a serious online disaster like BF4 had. Not that I think that will happen. These guys know what they are doing.

They really seem to have treated the engineering of this game the way I do my engineering work. Be upfront ...

The first Crackdown was a great game. I honestly only bought it for the Halo 3 Beta but the game was a blast. I figured it would be a steaming pile of shit using the Beta to get sales but I played that sucker twice through to the end.

If they are given the time I think that they could make a real go of Crackdown 3. We should know soon.
