The Playstation is the #1 console in the market with almost no competition at all.
PS4 Pro is giving Playstation gamers full native 4k gaming before any other console on the market. In fact, the competition has to wait a whole year to give its gamers what Playstation is doing in the present moment.

That's been their strategy for more than a year now. Look at how IGN Italy gave it 9 to the same game. Even Destructoid gave it a perfect 10 score.

Nintendo cannot keep being mediocre and pretend to charge for it now. It must be a balance. PSN and xlive subscribers pay because they find value on their subscriptions plus good features and stuff.
Nintendo giving you an old NES game only for a month is not what I would call value.
Is designed for a niche market who doesn't care to pay money for underpowered hardware with no triple A third party support and obviously people who will pay anything to play Mario and Zelda.

Nintendo should focus on making software only for all platforms and they could have more success. Right now, Nintendo fells like Sega but refusing to die.
If you are going to miss on a console, it could be Xbox, PS4 has too many way better exclusives, third party support and Japanese games.
"play anywhere" is not a worth feature to consider RE7 on Xbox. I bet you won't even use it more than 5 times. The PS4 version has more incentive to it plus VR support.
I doubt Zelda is going to be GOTY. Maybe I'll get a Switch on black Friday that comes bundled with Zelda and if there is an announcement of a serious Metroid game, not a Metroid pinball or Federation Soldiers game.
Sorry but I can't find any reasons to get exited about the Switch and its launch line up. I wish there was a compelling reason to get hyped, I really do, but there is none.
1. Microsoft had the most powerful console in the market with the first Xbox and still they lost.
2. Official spec Information suggest scorpio is only 43% more powerful than PS4 Pro which is going to be barely visible.
3. If the Xbox community said 55% PS4 advantage over the X1 was nothing and barely noticeable then what makes you think 43% difference is going to be noticeable? Doesn't make sense.
