A subscription in top of live subscription. Doesn't look good to me. Why these games are not part of games with gold? Also, they still have the same problem, not enough exclusive games for their library.

Microsoft s key marketing tool should be making exclusive games and new experiences for its console. Without exclusive content, they are never going to be a threat to Sony.
Sales always matter. They are already preparing the excuse in case sales are low or not like expected. When a product is good, it will seek like hotcakes. Sales matter.

Sony doesn't need to counter Scorpio. They are dominating the market. Scorpio will surely make Microsoft win some NDP but the rest of the worldwide market belongs to Playstation.

Nintendo made the first move with its Switch. Microsoft will follow with Scorpio although it is unclear if it is a mid gen update (Microsoft is in for a PR disaster again).
Sony is in no need for a 9th generation, they can take their time to make something special since they are ruling the market almost with no competition at all.
I don't think I would enjoy playing Zelda as much as Nioh or Horizon because it looks like a cartoon game for kids but I am glad it looks like is going to be a good game. Sadly, not enough for me to justify a Switch. After Zelda, there is simply nothing else interesting on Switch.
This is only 1 review. I doubt Zelda will get as many 10s as Horizon did.

This is why you never judge the launch lineup of a new Playstation console, because they always delivers the best library. The same happened with PS4.
Sony doesn't need to do what Microsoft is doing. They have their own strategy. In fact, If you look at the market, Sony is the one totally dominating it in all territories while Microsoft is miserably losing so, if there is someone who needs to "step up", that's Microsoft.
