At this point I feel like Sony is the only one who believes in single player games.

What I have feel is when you make a game your personal mission, not your job. I can remember Super Castlevania 4... It was my personal mission as a Christian member of the Belmont family to put and end to evil Dracula and making him pay and suffer with my whip.
When a game can make you feel like that, it is not a game anymore, it is an adventure and a tale where you are fully and emotionally invested in it. That is why I believe game can be art.

All I know is that Mark Cerny is already onboard with the PS5 and with the massive success he had with the PS4, is going to be awesome to see how he uses that adquired experience for the PS5.
You must fix the PS3 as they surpassed the Xbox at the end and provided the best exclusives of that generation such as The Last of Us and Uncharted.
Is having the most powerful system right now helping them? Even the Switch is selling more than the Xbox.

First of all Google would need to create some big exclusive games of their own to separate them from the competition. Hardware power or streaming won't make it.
It will hurt their image to release a console and fail against the other competitors. Google will not take that chance.
