With so many options and many consumers with backlogs, sentiment is a huge factor in whether or not to give a game the time of day.
I don't doubt the paid locked content at launch debacle didn't help matters along with the general mixed reception with previews.
I understand why companies do this but it seems incredibly foolish as the price of their consoles creeps towards a low-mid PC budget that buys you hardware capable of no subscription online play, access to multiple digital storefronts, a lot more functionality beside gaming, modular upgradability.

Theres clearly an agenda beyond objective assessment of the game's flaws. This is one DLC I'll be happy to pay full price for. The sales for AW2 are way under what they should be given just how damn good the game is. I haven't enjoyed a game this much since Ghost of Tsushima and if I can support the dev in any way, I will.
