😂 Guy considers himself a centrist. Of course you do. I've lost count of the amount of racists who don't consider themselves racist, abusers who don't consider themselves abusive and centerists who are anything but. It's basically a way of not having to justify your beliefs on the basis they are 'moderate'.
The extreme left? That would be literal militant communists. Are you seriously suggesting the games media is made up of those groups?
Explain to the room how Sly Cooper for example if "too white, too manly or not representative enough"?
You idiots will look for any way to shoehorn in your weird worldview. You've always got to have something to either moan about or feel threatened by.
GOG are great partners for this
Shit take. These are self contained playful stories. There are no unanswered questions as it's not a continuation of the main story. Take it for what it is, fun, referential, experimental shorts.
And now they own a load of other gaming outlets. Sucks for the consumer
This is one DLC I'll be happy to pay full price for. The sales for AW2 are way under what they should be given just how damn good the game is. I haven't enjoyed a game this much since Ghost of Tsushima and if I can support the dev in any way, I will.
Can you give a VR noob an example of what I'd be missing if I played, for example, Alyx on a PSVR2 vs a Quest 3?
Wouldn't be surprised if one of the money men at Microsoft have already earmarked this studio for closure regardless of how well Hellblade 2 does. Hence the lack of marketing spend.
I've got to disagree with the comments blaming consumers. Yes that is a part of it but by and large the money men are closing studios and sacking staff to increase profitability. Let's not forget the obscene salaries they're on compared to the people who actually make the games. Take 2 are not short of cash, this didn't have to happen.
This seems such an inconsequential removal, to get so uppity about it and not buy it as a result seems so incredibly petty. Am I missing something here?
More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame
Whilst it's an overreaction to say this has "ruined" the game, it's still problematic that this has happened post launch and for many, post-purchase.
I don't want someone to change a product for the worse after I've bought it. The same goes for implementing micro transactions after reviews.
I wonder why they did this? Nobody was kicking up a fuss as far as I'm aware.
Did they let Bethesda be Bethesda? Because Starfield didn't exactly live up to the expectations.
Agreed. Ubisoft really suck at this stuff. I feel sorry for the devs who've put in all that work to make a videogame only to have execs and money men create a load of bad faith by shoehorning in monetisation everywhere they can.
This "uglification" thing is nonsense though. If devs don't want their characters looking like they've just stepped out of a salon then that's fine. It's not some grand conspiracy and even if it was, what a hill to die...
"each title is quite literally as likely to explode in popularity as it is to implode"
Bullshit. The odds definitely aren't 50/50
So do we just ignore PC as a platform when talking about exclusivity?
That'll shift units...
Yes, there, I saved you the read.
Theres clearly an agenda beyond objective assessment of the game's flaws. You won't find a comments section on articles related to this game without the non-word "woke" being parroted by the usual reactionaries. It's become such a non specific umbrella term used as blanket criticism to avoid having to actually be specific when criticising and there are plenty of valid reasons to criticise this game and it's development without having to use imbecilic buzzwords.
