Uhhmmmm.... Fortnite being able to be played without a sub has zero to do with Epic/Fortnite. And the idea that Epic/Fortnite was paid in some way so their game can be played through xCloud streaming is also ridiculous. FREE games are not suddenly charging for their game to be played on another device. the entire point of Fortnite and F2P games is to get players playing their game free so they can earn money off any purchases gamers make while in game. Point is you have the option to load out your character however you want for the boss fights. You can literally walk into any boss fight and gank them with ease if you prep your character out prior to the fight. If my 10 year old has already beaten every boss with relative ease and playing in NG+ levels now then I am not imagining the bosses are really that difficult.

Completely false. Single player games sell very well on Xbox. Many Bethesda titles of old sold better than PlayStation even with smaller user base. Only real variable is 1st party SP games are more focused on by Sony but 1st party games on either system sell a very small percentage compared to 3rd party offerings. And Indie games are usually well received on Xbox. (when they are good)
They are comparing 2020 sales of a completely different game to 2016 sales of Furi. Furi did not sell well in 2016 on any system and worse on Xbox, (gamepass did not even come out until 2017) Furi simply wasn't that great a game. Haven did well on gamepass doesn't mean other games that weren't on gamepass didn't do well too on there own. Furi DLC doesn't matter simply because there are not enough purchases of it on Xbox and nobody is going to buy a 2016 game for a 2022 DLC...

Spider-Man was never planned to appear in the Avengers game from the start. PlayStation took the opportunity to make yet another deal for an exclusive appearance of Spider-Man as a character for Avengers and little more. PlayStation can continue to try and make similar deals in the future... but after seeing the Avengers character deal not paying out then less likely to see PlayStation invest in such a way at every turn.
