I played this game for the first time because of BC. It scares the hell out of me.
I think it's as simple as Yes.
Oh Kotaku. The place where an editor gets caught sleeping with a developer whose game he gave a glowing review, then when confronted about how compromising that is starts screaming about how games and gamers are sexist.
Impossible. Technology moves fast, it's inevitable.
You don't have to be able to afford it for it to make sense. Phones release every year for $800. As long as it can play the same games I see no issue.
Game console cycles should be 5 or 6 years with upgrades for the original boxes available every year to keep up with technology. That way gamers could decide what's important to them (higher textures, fps) while giving developers power that won't hold them back. Or release 3 versions at launch with low, medium, and high capabilities.
I've owned nearly all of those. First of all the "top headset" the 500x is trash. 2 sets broke with normal use internally. Also they're $149.99 at Best Buy. Don't even consider the 800x, they went with an embedded mic and it sucks. For stereo headsets stealth fours and sevens are identical in sound. The build quality of the sevens is much better. For an entry level Id go for the TB XO Ones but I haven't tried the standard Microsoft set. It seemed a bit cheap to me. I...
Dolby is PC only for this headset, because it uses a special USB dongle that will not work on consoles like the Hyper X Clouds.
The 100+ hours I've put into this game disagrees.
I did not mean for that to be a derogatory thing. I've been saying all along that VR is best for a market that is familiar with spending a good chunk of change on hardware. For console owners, there's really one expense and that's games. PC gamers upgrade their rig with new graphics cards, CPUs, etc. The console market is not the market for VR until it comes down to the $199 max price point.
I feel like it's a jab at Oculus with "Oculus ready PCs"
You're the exact reason that VR is not for Consoles
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding but you're defending a game that's backwards compatible and being released as an "HD" remake without better graphics? Why?
This just in...Kojima pooped in a toilet in Italy. Who cares?
But could he play it?
It is PRE-ALPHA. One of the devs said more optimation to come. Not every game starts out with 1080/60fps. I honestly don't have a huge issue with the FR, only when the host player dies and doesn't respawn. This is far from a tech demo buddy. Best selling game on the Xbox store at the moment and it's a freaking pre-alpha. People love it. It will be incredible on VR
The biggest issue was controls, I wish theyd update it and fix them
I can say with about 95% certainty that Activision probably gave them the okay to do it on the condition they wouldn't release it within a certain window to avoid hurting BLOPS 3 sales. I think the earliest we will see it is march.
Didn't they say this about Watch Dogs...
I'm no nintendo apologist but it wasn't really a lack of games, just a lack of VARIED games. Everything is the 13th,14th,15th version of Mario games. People complain about COD being old but we've had Mario since the 80's. Everything dies eventually. Kids have lost interest in those games and the jump to the more mature games is as early as ever. No one wants to buy a system you can't play the top games with your friends on. Nintendo acts like a third party publisher releas...
