The game is not perfect. It's 12 hours of doing the same thing over and over just like the previous installments. Don't get me wrong, it is fun. I even bought it of gamefly for $45. I just really don't believe it's a 9+ game, sorry. Plus, I think "Up Your Arsenal" is a much better game that uses almost all of the same gimmicks as this one.
I can't stand the english dub.
He would rate games on a 1 through 5 assassination scale
The whole premise of the past being recreated in a virtual space gives alot of leadway for follow-up titles
I thought the first one was a excellent launch game. I really hope the combat is more refined and that they don't butcher the gameplay to meet a M rating like Manhunt 2.
I'm sure he's all ronery playing by himself
I think Resident Evil is the most enjoyable since it has better pacing than the other two. The Resident Evil 1 remake for the Gamecube is in my top 10 favorite games.
I have practically no complaints about the game except I wish there was more to the world and colossus. What I mean is, the enviroment is too desolate. I wish there was more ruins of the past to explore and a greater challenge to reach each colossus. I also wish the colossus were more interactive. By that I mean, I wish the colossus could do more that just shake to try to throw you off. I want them trying to use their limbs and the enviroment to destroy me. Other than that, I think the game i...
Uncharted and Haze are it's only exclusives this holiday season. White Knight Story is supposedly coming out in Japan in December.
Assassin's Creed, Call Of Duty 4, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band are on both the PS3 and 360.
I'm not bashing in anyway. I just wish they pushed Lair and Heavenly Sword to November/December to better sales and give the developers some extra time to fix the minor blimishes that plaque those games.
Next year could be huge if Final Fa...
Most peoples top choices:
Uncharted for the PS3
Mass Effect for the 360
Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii
Assassin's Creed for either the PS3 or 360
Rock Band for either the PS3 or 360 for those big spenders who want to share
I wonder what kind of tv ratings these game specials get?
I'll be really surprised if they don't bring both The Witcher and Hellgate: London to the 360 in some form.
October and november are way too crowded with big name games (especially FPS) for a game like this to actually compete and make sales. This is probably a back burner title (at best) on everyones list of games to play right now.
Also, Clive Barker is the last person we need as a spokesperson for the "games are art" movement. Everything is art to a certain degree, but Jericho is not commendable art and that's what the game industry really needs to juxtapose video games ...
I have Guitar Hero 1, 2 and Encore for the PS2. The PS3 isn't compatible with the PS2 guitar nor is the PS3 guitar compatible with the PS2 guitar Hero games. I'm getting Rock Band for the 360 but the Rock Band guitar doesn't work with Guitar Hero 2 and 3, but the Guitar Hero games for the 360 work on Rock Band. This peripheral non sense is getting way out of hand and way too expense for a piece of plastic.
Namco you're also crazy for pricing Time Crisis 4 $90 because it comes ...
I still want to try it out, but the new "censoring" blur/color invert effect gives me a headache. Plus, the premise for the new game just sounds like a excuse for gratuitous, and glorified violence. The first one was no different but at least it had a unique 70's grindhouse quality about it. Plus, the interactive entertainment industry, as well as, the movie industry really need to embrace the AO rating. What's the point of having the rating if you refuse to publish and distribute s...
I live in Los Angeles and every Gamestop in the area is a complete mess: nothing's organized, employee's gladly express their disinterest in both helping customers and simply working there, and used games are way over priced and are usually scratched or missing the manuals / original case.
Buy your games of Gamefly (rent then buy for half price). Buy your consoles from best buy with a 2 year replacement warranty. Buy your used games from Amazon, Ebay, Half.com. Gamestop will o...
I'd love to see a Studio Ghibli like game made. The closest thing I can think of is Ico and Shadow of The Colossus. Any of Miyazaki's work would make an excellent game. Supposedly he's retiring after his new movie coming out in early 2008 (I hope it's untrue).
I hope you have the option to play it in the original Japanese dub.
Why can't they make a next-gen Cowboy Bebop, Record of Lodoss Wars, or Slayers game. I know, dead franchises.
I think "Up Your Arsenal" is still the best in the series. Also, the graphics for this one are smoke and mirrors. What I mean is that the game looks absolutely amazing from a distance (vibrant colors, saturated lighting, and great draw distance with vehicles and meteors flying all over the place), but up close things lack detail and look a tad muddy. Plus, nothing really smoothed out. All the objects in the game have a hexagonal shaping (circular objects).
It's still ...
I just read on Kotaku:
"Ubisoft has announced that Naruto purists who want to experience the Xbox 360 game of the same name with original Japanese voice actors intact can do so with planned downloadable content. The DLC for Naruto: Rise of a Ninja is planned as a post-launch release via Xbox Live and will be, thankfully, free for anyone who's interested. A classy move, one that we hope more developers will pay heed to."
