I'm afraid it's going to be more of a Jack Black / Tenacious D game than a Tim Schafer game. It'll be good either way, but I really hope it has Tim Schafer's kind of Humor and story plot.
Also, Psychonauts is so setup for a sequel like The Incredibles. Just make it already.
It's a Nintendo franchise. What do you expect? It's always been a paper thin story about Mario saving Peach from Bowser, and it works.

I haven't had any framerate problems at all, but there is a bit of tearing and pop-in, which usually happens during the countryside areas on horseback.
The only other problems the game has are the crowd A.I., which can feel very mechanical at times, and the lack of side quest variety. Saving citizens plays out exactly the same every time and the guards always say the same thing over and over ("stop thief,' 'I'll have your hands for this"). I'm really really surprised...

I have this pre-ordered at Gamestop ($25 deposit required, crazy), but I won't be able to pick it up till Dec. 5th. Does anyone know how long Gamestop will hold on to a pre-order before giving it to the next guy? I know I should probably call them, but I was just wondering if anyone has been in this same situation.
