My friend found a cool one not too long ago. It's all the Resident Evils but in sidescroller form. There's also one where it's everyone from Capcom vs SNK fighting through a sidescroller. They're quite amazing

The DS is reminiscent to Gameboy/SNES (old console) games while the PSP is reminiscent to PS2 (last gen console) games

It's been 2 years now and we're still only getting concept art and recycled screenshots
The only stand alone titles that exist are "failed" titles. Anything that's successful nowadays has to be milked out and turned into a franchise.
It's not necessarily a bad thing, but companies like EA aren't going to take risks on niche titles like "Okami" anymore, which is extremely disappointing.
I still have faith in Japan Studio and Team Ico. I'd love to see Studio Ghibli or Miyazaki get involved in the game industry

It's nice to see the game industry go the same way as television/film, and by that I mean straight down the drain.
Once in awhile you'll get a nice gem, but for the most part you're just digging through crap

There's just too many run-of-the-mill games coming out: Army of Two, Dark Sector, Viking, Turok, Dark Messiah, Kingdom Under Fire: CoD, Turning Point, Frontlines: FoW, etc.
Also, games are starting feel stretched out. A lot of games feel like 5-7hr games extended to 10-15 by recycling the same battles and environments over again (all of the above apply)
Some people just have way too much time on their hands. What's the point?
