It play like Tetris / Dr. Mario. Nothing new puzzle wise, but still a lot of fun

Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb don't actually review the majority of what's on X-Play. They are simply the narrators for the review segments
I'm surprised with the 2's they're handing out because those use to be reserved for really crap games. Mediocre titles like Dark Sector use to score 3's and even 4's, but I guess the scoring system has received too much scrutiny over time
Yeah, and probably the majority of those who bought it (like me) are trying to rid of the damn thing

Oh yay, Square Enix gave the game a horrible english dub. I wish they would give us the option to choose between the original japanese and english dub. The english dubs are never a literal translation of the original nor are they delivered in the same fashion.
The bad dub seems to be x-plays biggest gripe. I wonder what score they would've gave the original version?

I like how Gears of War is treated like the creator of shoot-and-cover gameplay. There really isn't much to it. I don't know why everything is called a Gears of War clone when it's such a simple gameplay mechanic. I think it's kind of a snobbish thing to say

I think there was a few tense moments like the hotel chase and hiding in the docks, but I never thought it was scary. It was pretty good for a H.P. Lovecraft based game, except for Cthulhu actually appearing in the game, which doesn't make any sense (why would it try to attack you with it's tentacles when it could literally destroy all of mankind with its mind). Eternal Darkness is still the best H.P. Lovecraft based game I think.

The remake for RE1 is still my favorite
It's very sim. I never could get into the series because it's the complete opposite of every other racer (arcade style). It's a gorgeous looking game, but still no car damage or effects on the environment
