It's not just the graphics, which can look great (ex. when it rains) and sometimes downright ugly (ex. character models, low res text, jaggies). I think the writing is still amateur. It doesn't feel like it's written for adults. It feels like it was written by high schoolers for high schoolers. The humor is still crude and falls flat. Everything feels like cliff notes instead of actual dialog and story. The missions still lack depth and are formulaic like all the other GTA's (drive to contact...
Yeah, perfection at a high school level
This game has more lows than highs to me. It's just the GTA formula recycled all over again. I thought this game was going to be the full blown "NEXT-GEN" cinematic extravaganza Rockstar lead us to believe
It just frustrates me how this and the Halo franchise receive so much praise, but by next year all these reviewers will finally admit their criticisms and regrets for rating it so highly like they did with Halo 3
I've had one semi-freeze, but it went away after 10 secs.
Then I had some weird dimensional warp where I fell into space while in an apartment. I had to reload the game
I wish
It was just a port of the original with a new translation
I don't think either one is special
I think Zelda: Link to The Past, and Windwaker are much better
I think I like San Andreas more than GTA4 because of the variety in environment (I'm one of those who liked the country and desert stretches between cities.
I'd rather have FFVI, Chrono Trigger, or Secret of Mana
A Rastan remake could be cool. All the japanese sequels were awesome
Do you get to fight possessed chairs and candlesticks in this one lol
They could have called this game anything and it would make no difference. There's very little resemblance of the original
It's just another GTA game
The reviews over rated it just like Halo 3.
Both under delivered graphically and evolution wise
It's B+ game to me
No thanks
I don't need to listen to 2 tw@s b!tching at each other
I haven't had any problems so far.
A grain filter would be a nice addition. The jaggies are getting on my nerves
electric milk
I wonder if Ash forces his Pokemon to breed? I mean, he keeps them in balls that are half their size until he summons them to fight some other innocent creature. It's not like they're pets to him
It was just a typical day in GTA
I don't think a day has gone by where I didn't kill me at least one hooker
Forget Laguna Beach w/ monster, I mean Cloverfield. What about Beowulf?
I think you have to turn them on
There's a sixaxis tutorial in the cellphones menu, which I haven't bothered with
He looks like a homeless pedophile in that pic
They must love GTA's c0ck
I've been playing it and it has made no significant impact like playing Shadow of The Colossus for the first time. GTA4 just feels like GTA just like Halo 3 felt like Halo, but neither of them achieve the same experience as the first iterations
My problem is with the visuals
I have the PS3 version and it's fuzzy and jagged as hell. I'm playing it in 720p on a 42". All the reviewers gave this game a 10 in the graphics department because of the artistic detail, but I can't even really appreciate it because everything is so muddy, jagged, and blurred.
I know everyone is going to disagree, but come on. Saint's Row came out 2 years ago and so far that game has been more of an enjoyable experience than GTA4 ...
If my copy doesn't work then I'm going to my dark and slightly damp place
This sounds like a job for the "X-PRESIDENTS!"
The demo was okay
The developers really need to work on the shooting and fighting mechanics (they're like the god awful fights in Fugitive Hunter). There's no hope for the driving segments, which are just archaic
