Actually no... they had made all their money back with the PS4 release. But as a small independent dev, they were still nervous of their next project not working out and that would have bankrupted them.

MS does seem to be positioning themselves well for next gen.
But if Sony comes at them with a price point of at least the XB1X or lower, with BC with PS4, and oh lets say TLOU2 at console launch...well MS might find themselves in a hard situation again.

It's advanced quite a bit from the 90's the Cafe Booth VR I played in the 90's it was horrible: terrible graphics / latency beyond belief and immensely awkward head units. But still showed a path that we would hopefully see come to a consumer VR unit. And here we are... it's rather amazing. PSVR and the like are similar to a Blackberry "smart" phone. Next gen will get our "iphone" PSVR quality headset probably in 2021 a year after PS5 in 2020.

Days Gone Dev also said their game is going to come out before TLOU2 so who knows?
But that sure would be a crowded "Zombie Like" fest 2019 year. So just feel TLOU2 has moved to 2020.

It's already been on the weakest machine the org XB1. Not only that, thanks to your Beta testing on XB1 it's probably going to run better on PS4. Good try, but epic fail.
