No we don't, were good till 2020, 2021 would be better but I don't see that happening.
Well you better not play it on the org XB1 looks like mud puddles compared to the other 3.
Checker board rendering and Native 4K are of diminishing returns: It's like comparing Sand at two different beaches at 6 feet away. The Org XB1 and PS4 was like comparing boulders and rocks at the beach.
As the resolutions go higher and higher, the human eye is going to notice less of a difference between to resolutions like Native/Checker, especially at 6 to 8 feet or more away from a screen where most reside when playing console games.
LOL So ya if your two feet away ...
Ya far from inferior. The flood of highly rated exclusives and largest install base and cost on PS4 is why people are still buying PS4 over XB1. Trust me PS4 players are not concerned in the slightest about 4K's diminishing returns over checkerboard rendering.
They never "duped" players Sony was pretty up front of what PS4 Pro could do, it could do 4K and also Checker board rendering and explained it in numbly detail. MS on the other hand had a lovely AD about how XB1s could also do 4K games. They were told to pull the Ad for false advertising.
Actually to be fair, look at it this way:
Checkerboard 4K rendering to native 4K is of diminishing returns. Let's look at a beach it's boulders versus rocks for an (extreme) illustration, that was org XB1 to PS4, now we move to XB1X vs PS4 Pro. To illustrate we start looking at sand in Hawaii compared to sand in CapeCod, USA. From the same distance that we were looking at the boulders and rocks. While the sand in Hawaii is much more fine than the course sand at the Cape we ca...
@skull521
“Xbox One S could be considered 4K by Sony standards apparently”
Nope by MS standards since MS originally put out an TV AD claiming XB1s did 4K gaming. They were forced to change AD btw.
Ya it’s kinda funny since most play at at least 8ft from their screen. 4K vs checkerboard rendering is of diminishing returns. Sure if your playing from 2 feet away ya XB1X is much better. But we can see from sales of consoles resolution really doesn’t matter all that much to folks
RDR2 or is Cyberpunk gonna beat it out?
For me I'm more into a Cyberpunk kinda game but it has to be serious, and CP looks for from that. While a western theme game I'm less into, but RDR2 looks absolutely amazing. Think RDR2 has the win.
I don't under stand how he can do this, let alone with a kid. Unless he does nothing to help raise his child or income.
I got a info graphic from Sony back in 2017 saying I was in the top 10% of trophy hunters, and I only have 5 Platinum's and that's from really only playing two night's a week, from 11:00pm-2:30am, lol! Who Knows!?!
Ya DriveClub photo mode was pretty dope.

This is going to be a very dangerous game for me. I'm going to lose my job, get divorced, daughter is going to hate me, friends are going to abandon me, forget to eat and sleep. To say I'm a little scared of DREAMS is an understatement.
Waaaaaaay too late on this.
Two failed games on PS4 The Order 1886 and SFV.
Just the same pretty good track record for Exclusives.
Oh wait one more No Mans Sky.
I def enjoyed it but GOW/Spider I enjoyed more
WOW that's exactly how I feel about cars! Forza will never really be considered an exclusive because cars are so universal.
GOW hands down
At the launch of this gen developers were ramping up with exclusive games once they got the final console specs. It takes 3-4 years in to usually release a game. On PS4 were are seeing a flood of highly rated exclusive games, it just happens to happen at the same time of the Scorpio launch. If MS had planned better that is exactly what would be happening on that platform as well 4 years into this gen.
This gen pretty much breaks down like this:
Launch: PS4 AAA 3rd party majo...
If you think longevity is what makes a good game, your a bit clueless. Last of Us is a game I still think of till this day along with Inside. Inside being a fairly short game but one of the best I have played this Gen. And the TLOU being one of my favorites of all time.
Ya we don't nor is it needed. We are fine waiting till 2020-21
