Hum I live, in Boston MA USA, and the one I go to is a major one, located on a major shopping highway route. (Route1) and that location is just brimming with collectables.
Ya I know the markup on that junk is like 60%, but I feel if they loose their main focus it's just a matter of time.
It's hard to match Bestbuy when every 59.99 game right of the bat is $47.99 or even ($37.99 if a big release like Anthem with a $10.00 gift card back) True this program is going awa...
Power is almost never the game changer, if Sony comes in with BC at the launch of PS5 unlike 4 years in a console cycle, along with CP, along with newly created 1st party studios they talked up building a while back. Plus TLOU2 releasing the same year as PS5 in 2020...with the possibility of a powerful console... gonna be real hard for MS.
Hey they had a pretty dope Shadow of the Colossus figure for $250 but come on. Rather buy games which they hardly had any of, since the whole store was full op pop heads. I think on one hand I can coun't how many thing I bought. 2 Last of us pins, one The last Guardian shirt. And I've been gaming way before there was even a GameStop, or Electronic's Boutique. Usually when a shop starts selling stuff like this the curtain call is right around the corner.
After buying games from Bestbuy since 2014 dropped into a Gamestop yesterday and can't believe how littered the store was with plain old junk collectibles etc, and not very much games. It's the beginning of the end for GS.

You have a large amount of Parents and Grandparents buying systems for younger if not first time players during holidays. And Switch just screams as a much better system for younger kids. After holidays are over you see the standard gamers buying consoles and that tends to be an older demographic that have a job and own spending capital, and PS4 is where it's at. Come January pretty sure you'll see PS4 right on top again.

Inside...but it only lasted for a month until I played it on PS4.
