Not sure why this was linked here so late. That list is probably a month old. Like you said, no Lair, No Heavenly Sword. I'm on CNET more than I'm on hear because they've got great reviews on tv's and receivers (not the very expensive ones) but I saw this list some time ago.
I see I'm going to be in the minority. Better put on my flame suit. I'm not a fanboy but I'm not really interested in most of those titles for my 360. Blue Dragon looks nice but it's not my cup of tea. I think Fable 2 will be tops on my list, maybe a tie with Mass Effect. I'm just not a geeked as you guys are. ithink those will probably all go in the rent column. Who knows though, I may get drawn in. It's been known to happen.
Just wait and see who's winning the format war when the prices go down and the libraries of each format expand. There's no reason to get depressed because there's no $300 blu-ray player. You're going to spend far more than $300 buying all your favorite movies. If you only plan on purchasing one movie then you should get a PS3 or a 360 and the add-on and get more bang for your buck.
What's the rush? The BR and HDDVD libraries are still not very impressive for the money...
I haven't played either but I do want to pick up Okami. It looks spectacular but I need to play it and see how that intertwines with the aesthetic beauty.
They gone to great detail to make the scenery accurate. One of thos escreenshots shows a tier in a field outside a factory. I've been to that factory, that tire is really THERE!!! I'm kidding of course.

No, I like the PS3 and I don't bash the 360. That would be stupid, I own one. They [MS] make very good games. I hope that both companies continue to make good games so they can both continue to lure away my hard earned money the bahstuds!

I'm sure many of the 360 fans are tired of hearing about how good the PS3 is and how it kicks the 360's behind. Come on now guys honestly. Everybody who's worth reading has already said that competition is good. I own a 360 and I'm happy to hear so many people praise the PS3 because that's where I'm going next and it reaffirms that it's money well spent.

ironic that they would add a LOTR actor to a game that will surely bring in people who normally aren't into this type of game the same way LOTR brought people who normally weren't into that movie right in. It is a pretty safe bet that this game will be successful.
Shutting down for a day is not a bad thing if the new content brings the network closer to XBL. Heck, they should shut it down for day in the States also. I'm all for improvement.

but most of the time you are really playing by yourself or online when You're playing racing games. I'm a little older and most of my friends work in other states so we can't come over like we used to when we were in college. Even then we'd generally would only use split screen for FPS not racing. I guess if they would have included it split screen it would have received a 9 from Gamespot right? If it had split screen and twom more tracks it would have received a 10 right???

Crazy Phil may be on to something. With the slow adoption rate of 1080p by broadcast companies and even though sales of HD movies are picking up it's still way behind dvd's. The whole war over format's is making adoption even slower, Phil may be right.

Game Informer says there are many cool things about the game like calling on ravens to devour an enemy, but that it's plagued with problems. It was rated very poorly. I thought the idea was good and this might have been a cool game if more work was applied to it.
