This will be very interesting. Hopefully the story isn't too sci fi where you're wondering what's going on. You hope that the story brings the viewer som attachment to the characters plight.
I started with the Coleco pong game on my parents Telstar. They bought me an Atari 2600. I played my cousins Nintendo and my buddies Gameboy and another buddies Genesis. I got my Playstation before I started college about 2years after it came out and loved it like it was my first child (no kids). Moved on to the PS2 in college and then the Xbox. I now use my 360 mostly and later this week my PS3 will be taking over the living room.

Their manufacturing department has allowed to really stock up Europe with PS3's that's really all its saying. They've met demand and exceeded it by a small margin. That's good business.
It brought me into the dvd age with the Matrix. It was the first and only console I ever stayed in line and slept outside for just to say I did it. It was a beautiful time and I wore out play a variety of games. It will sit proudly next to my psone when I get my PS3 tomorrow. I just put it back in its original box last night. I felt a tear coming on...

This is a great game because it's like the Youtube of games. People are going to make wild interesting boards to get "play" and comments on the server. Great idea!
jkbonafide I can't say I can agree with your rationale. MS touts so often that they give you choices and options so you as the consumer can decide and they are right. They do give you choices but seriously controlled choices that lead you don't a MS path. The PS gives you choices that lead you down a Sony path (with Bluray).
When Sony said they wouldn't have BC in Europe to the same extent guys on here went nuts about it. They didn't care about the costs factors that Sony went...

We have to be even handed hear. Before Home all I read about was all the movies, downloads and arcade games that Live has that PSN doesn't and how they should step it up. They step it up and now it's not important anymore. WTF?
Home takes nothing away from games and only adds to them and their discussion similar to this very site.
Sony and MS are both doing big things. Be happy for both.
I believe Sony's approach is very much in tune with the games yet they also are going a different that is all encompassing while MS has chosen a narrower path.
Neither is wrong, it just different. You never have to go in Home but it still records all that stuff for you like I never have to go in Live but it's still recording my acheivements.
Home still has a lot to be done to it but they shouldn't try and please everyone's wants. They should survey and focus on depth of the top 10 heavy hitters. They should also not do everything that Live does cause of that ish is annoying and ill timed.
Yeah, but you have to have the hardware to push a lot of the software ideas and Phil has been spending a lot of time pushing that. Plus, he's spent a lot of time getting the harware out there during these 3 launches. The softwares no good if you have nothing to play it on...

That was a good interview. It was very tactful that he didn't go into the backlash and past issues but focused on the future. He was wise to continue to ride the recent success and point out the truly, overall successful introduction of the PS3.
Not to some fanboys taste but, you can't please everybody...
Both companies have impressive line-ups.
This topic is about MS line up and it is indeed impressive. Will anything be as impressive as Gears though or will most titles leave you with "Eh, it was a pretty game".

I agree 100%. Will ever forget the story of FFVII it looked cool too but that story was amazing. Those are the things you remember.
That is an excellent picture and sounds like a great game for guys 15 and up. Oh yeah, and the freaky girls out there...you know you are.
And as a 360 owner we pay to play the dam thing $5 a month whether we play or not. They need a Fair an Flexible plan like Sprint. LOL!! Serious...
They should have had Bad Dudes and Xmen (in the arcade) on the list. THose were also very good "beat'm ups"
