My mom always roots for me throughout my adventure in Pokemon Silver. I remember the day she got me a Snorlax doll, so huge, soft, and snuggly.
His design is pretty damn cool. Mix between a squid, skeleton, and alien swordsman.
Last year they gave an announcement in March giving the specific plan. Nothing concrete for this year. Here's the most we got:

Region Locking should not exist on games that are only available in specific regions. If someone wants to buy a "Japan-only" they should be able to buy one outside of Japan. I understand the reason for region locking, so publishers can set prices and control stock of games per region. But when there are games people can't play because they would have to buy the same console again is when it gets ridiculous.
Most of the time region-locking prevents games from se...
A new system is a risky venture. Spending a bunch of money on R&D for something that may not sell, especially after the WiiU is hard to pull the trigger on (Nintendo would be worrying about both the WiiU/3DS successor and a different console for emerging markets).
With mobile you already have over a billion in existence, you just need to focus on software which Nintendo is legendary at. Nintendo doesn't need to saturate their hardware business with low to mid-tier con...
I'm eager to see the other modes and maps. I'm not sure if 4v4 is enough, maybe it's because I didn't look for fights but I spent most of my time alone filling the map, could at least be 5v5. The game runs smooth and looks great. Weapon balance could use some work, but the game has potential. I really hope they remove the 2 map every 4 hours limitation for online.
I want them to make money and in-turn create more development teams, preferably Retro Std. style where they take a Western Dev and assimilate them with the Nintendo design philosophies (so first-party western teams)
I want Nintendo to fill the void left by 3rd parties, so more Devil's Third, Bayonetta type games.
I think the Orchestra is the final one. Now that the kickstarter is getting a small amount every hour adding another massive stretch goal is a bit of a reach. Stretch goals get people hyped to spend money so they can reach them, and to provide clear goals. They've stated any money will go to better content. They're goal now should be to make the best game possible.
Most (practically all) speedrunners love the game they run, have beaten it many times, and want other challenges or ways to enjoy it. If you're going to spend a year or more running a game you want it to be a game you like to play and find fresh every time you play it.
It's not a Gold deal, but you can get the Season Pass for Bioshock Infinite for $10 (both silver and gold). It's normally $20 for $35 worth of content. Best chance you'll get for a console price.
I was surprised to see Bioshock Infinite Season Pass for 50% off. I was frustrated when I didn't take advantage of the Gold deal a few weeks ago, now I got to save more money.
$10 for $35 worth of content? Yes please.
Who cares? It's a million units sold for a game that most likely had a small/moderate budget to begin with. And they sold a lot of DLC. 1/10 is a pretty good attach rate.
Then why are there a dozen Mario, Peach, and Link at every store? Wouldn't they restrict their more popular characters, since they would be making so much off of their demand? If everything was limited I would agree with you. I think they played it too safe in order to cut back on inventory, now there's a dozen Mario's sitting at a store when there could be Marths and villagers ready to be bought.
I don't necessarily forgive Nintendo for the continued shortage...
"This game won't include all these amazing things the originals had, but it will still be great"
While I doubt the game will be bad, I'm sure fans will be left wanting more. TitanFall barely scraped by with no dedicated single-player, only 4 real players per side, and just 5 modes (3 of them standard fare).
And we all know the game is going to be a massive DLC ship. I wouldn't be surprised to hear about a Season Pass in the near future....
There's physical release for PC but not for console, and you need to pay into a middle tier to get physical. I'm hoping they create a console physical release tier and provide a blank box (your console of choice) and a manual. I'm getting it on console no matter what, but right now unless you get a PC version you don't have many options.
With all the money they're getting I would think they could work out physical console copies for Kickstarter backers.
Nintendo had to include tech from the Wii in order to read the discs, then enable the WiiU to speak to the Wii parts and create a whole new menu. It takes time and money to create an emulation or have the necessary parts.
By not having BC you force people to buy the previous system in order to play old games. Or with Sony you have the option to buy into PSNow. Nintendo isn't winning any points or significant sales because the WiiU can play Wii games. It's a service N...
Couldn't resist singing along :)
It always annoys me when people say a certain game can't be made since the original team is no longer behind it. If you can analyze, breakdown, and rebuild well enough then nothing is really out of reach. Sure it won't be the exact same, but it's not like great games are untouchable pieces of art.
I would think Rockstar wouldn't be against creative censorship. Seems a bit weird if you ask me. Ofc exploits and cheats are no good, but something that's harmless and only adds extra hours to the game. I guess they want you to buy their delayed DLC instead.
The DLC has been top notch, and the 200cc free update is something I would have expected to be added in a future installment. Imo it had one of the best soundtracks of 2014, and it looks amazing.
