I don't have a problem with their enthusiasm it's just they are always making captain obvious statements.. It's obvious their sales will spike right before a Halo release. Therefore spinning this as momentum always has some underlying reason behind just consumers wanting a Xbox specifically. Maybe they just want Halo? Anyhow congrats.
PSVR might be the biggest thing I have ever waited besides a new console release in gaming.
COD generally is more entertaining. Marginally though. It has a slight edge in variety with zombies.
.
Sales do make one a king.
I think this is gonna start to get a little bigger when VR comes. Then Uncharted. Then The Last of Us. So on in the coming years.
That's basically what I said. As long as its a generation leap.
Well begin eating my friend because there is no instance in history a 3rd party produced gaming addition for PC outdid a console gaming addition. There are gonna be more quality games on PSVR. Then Vive and or Oculuc will simply fade or be forgotten. Both won't succeed. PSVR certainly is backed better. One out of the two others might survive as the defacto PC default to play games with. It may be Oculus. However only because a console like Xbox backs it. Therefore most of any games will b...
I didn't say it was gonna be the Wii. I said it was gonna be the biggest innovation since the Wii. How the public views games played on it is a whole different topic than how big it will get potentially.
There are still wow factors to be had by having enough power in a console. I'm hoping we are wowed as well. I will never cheer for status quo or being underwhelmed.
But what of PlayStation VR? According to Renaud, the device is in a ‘league of its own’. “Huge install base to start, solid consumer experience, single target for developers. I think they’ll do really well. Not as sure about the move controllers, but am quite happy that the Dual Shock 4 controller is also tracked.”
Looks like he likes PS4 controller over the others. Looks like he is saying Sony has the more solid gaming history, install base to back the games, better develop...
Maybe. I just think PS4 is a different machine altogether than PS3 so that comparison reason makes no sense.
It seems like it would be wise of them to open it up to PC use. It could explode. PC use is not a Xbox exclusives right. Sony could easily do it if they want to. I also believe PSVR would reach a larger crowd making PC and PS4 compatible. It's in their best interest to do so. I hope Sony sees the profit and exposure potential of that particular of the VR experience.
I am expecting it. I will disappointed if they don't improve on PS4 specs. At least a pretty noticeable upgrade over PS4.
Yea but hopefully it's not a tiny upgrade. I'm hoping it's a whole new generation ahead of PS4 in power.
It'll be the biggest thing to hit gaming since the Wii introduces its motion controls. That system only outsold 360 and PS3.
He literally said PS4 has better controllers. Has a longer stable gaming history.
Yea it seems PSVR is the way to go for VR.
I'm guessing and probably right @bothebo you are not old enough to remember arcades and lines for the VR machine. Movies about it. Lawnmower man and a few others. It was a huge craze in the 90's that couldn't produce a cheap enough home console of acceptable quality to match. I do. I've played all systems. VR is more exciting than any console I ever played if there are AAA games for it.
99.9% is you making up figures in your own head. Everyone I ever seen play VR not being the Nintendo version has always wanted VR as a gaming device or loved it. The technology was ahead of its time too expensive a few years back though.
It's really just a Halo game spike. I'm amazed Halo isn't enough to surpass Sony for at least one month really.
