Guessing he means this is purely for the Doritos, Mountain Dew, Pizza hut app, dudebro crowd. Freckles, pimples, probably braces. Screaming profanity at the online community. Lol. That's all I can think he us meaning with saying it's not for the rpg crowd. I think he means it's meathead level unsophisticated. Lmao! Subtle jab in the review headline.
Well looks like Destiny is the way to go. Now to get back online with it. From the people at Bungie who created Halo. Have my Halo on PS4 now. Boots up Destiny.
I agree. The first 3 were the best. Then there hasn't been a recognizable experience since.
12 years old with raging hormones. I love Mountain Dew, Doritos, Pizza hut app, and Halo. I have freckles and braces. I'm a big dork for Halo. My franchise letting me down. Whyyyyyy!!!!!!
Not expecting this. Halo bad reviews? Destructoid hands out 9 and 10 like candy to big releases. Halo must have been really unimpressive to not get at least a 8. Hmmm.oh well.
I'm counting 5 mixed reviews on this front page alone.
It's forming a disturbing pattern in reviews. I wonder what in the campaign is so off putting to the reviews? Usually just Halo lore is good enough to get high scores. Maybe they are finally just scoring it objectively? Halo has only had a strong campaign story for half it's games. Guess this one isn't that strong half.
Ugh oh. I'm starting to see a lot of 4 and 6 scores. More than usual. Even more than for some mixed reviews on Until Dawn before Until Dawn started getting a bunch of 9 and 10s. Looks like Halo took a dip this time in quality.
It was gonna happen eventually. The bad version of Halo released one day.
Wouldn't Destiny be technically the best versions of any Halo style game? Since its created by Bungie employees the original creators of the best Halo games? In theory Halo 5 is the imitation since is been bounced around to multiple less talented developer than its original creators. Bungie. The creators of smash hit Destiny. Lol.. Guess Destiny was that "Halo killer" people had been searching for. Ironic.
Wow. Lackluster start to the Halo hype train. Looks like the Game of the year is still Bloodbourne, Witcher 3, or MGS V. People already had their Halo fix. They just didn't know it. By the people who invented Halo. It was called Destiny. That's why it sold like crazy and felt so familiar. They are by the way. The creators of the best versions of Halo all time.
They are practically the same game almost. Made by the people who used to make the original and best Halo games. Maybe they made the better Halo already?
The price cut matched with its huge lineup of Japanese themed games coming will mean a even larger gap there coming. Sony tends to pour it on when they have the lead to bury the competition. They never rest on their laurels. That's how PS2 maintained its dominance. Sony just kept pouring on more games and features. Dominance is good in Sony's case. The more dominance they are? The more freedom of creativity we have seen from them in the past.
Sony always has these really unique games that Microsoft never has. I think that's the difference. They are as we know also a entertainment company. So they know how to entertain people I suppose better. It's just stuff like this, VR, Until Dawn, LBP, The Last of Us, Deep Down, Bloodbourne, Horizon. That gives it just enough unique variety to keep choosing Sony.
It's a smaller country. It's not as embarrassed as say? Microsoft numbers. Which are measured in hundreds sold weekly and thousands lifetime. Ps4 is doing great there.
I haven't enjoyed a Nintendo console since GameCube. Dreamxast was one of the best consoles I ever had because it had fantastic games. It just came out in between t,o of the best consoles eras ever between PlayStation 1 and 2. Ultimately Xbox as well.
It's baffling me too. There is hardly any turn of notice.
Kind of undermines the article when there is another article up where Microsoft admits defeat won't announce consoles shipped anymore on the same page as this one. How did they overcome a blunder yet are losing so badly consoles shipped won't even be announced by them anymore?
Sounds very negative to me. If im a developer and do not have a heavily online supported game my question would be, "Why would I bring my single player heavy game that focuses on offline gaming to Xbox?". If I was a developer who had a campaign focused game.
The way things are shaping up I'd go with something else this time. Star Wars, Tomb Raider, or Fallout4. All might be better games than Halo.
