Let's all pump our brakes here. A pu unit with barely anything in it but a processor shouldn't have us all talking 600 dollars. If it is that would be dumb pricing. I guarantee you it won't be 500 and above. If I'm wrong then VR will not reach a larger audience. I think they aren't that dumb. Some people losing their minds just because it's more powerful than they first thought. It's just smartly made perhaps like the PS4 hardware which is amazingly cheap itself.

Yea but it won't be that huge a difference in quality. PSVR isn't just run by the console. The Processing unit that comes with the Sony VR unit does a lot of the work and boosts its ability on PSVR. It'll be quite powerful enough.
That will be a funny spin coming. I have a feeling with PS4 price drop it's still gonna win the North America holiday.
