Gaming bolt takes high road. Falls off high road because they are the creators of most low roads and never bothered building a high road to begin with. This is like McDonald's giving health tips to a fat kid eating chicken mcnuggets.

All signs point to global domination at least. Whether North America ever comes back into play for Microsoft is also in question. It seems 2016 could be the tipping point where it all leans one way permanently. Most likely PS4's continued dominance.

Move away from the name too. Remove philosophy completely away as well. Focus solely on a hardcore gaming machine.

I completely agree. Like you said in future iterations. I believe it's decades away similar to VR was in the early 90's.

Because VR technology is ready. Its been in development for decades.

In the future. It's not ready. The tech needs several years if not decades. The same happened with Virtual Reality until it's acceptable form of the present. I agree it's very exciting technology. It's years away to reaching its potential.

I predict many of your Xbox minds would change their stance if tomorrow they announced the XboxVR helmet or bought Oculus Rift to play on Xbox.

Except those all felt sucky before buying them. All lame ideas we knew would fail before anyone bought them. Nobody actually wanted the Kinect. People do want Virtual Reality in many circles. I never asked for motion controls or the power glove either unless it did come with virtual reality. Honestly who ever asked for Kinect? Whoever asked for the power glove? When I was sitting playing my games I never said, "gee you know this would be great if I could flail my arms around standing up ...

Well we all know how bluray turned out, the DVD in PS2, online in Xbox, LED tv. Sometimes things just work out. Virtual Reality just needs it's foot inside the door. Then it'll penetrate the casual crowd.

Well that's understandable because they are looking towards Virtual Reality.

I mean come on. Why not just name it the Penis? It's almost the same as naming it the Wii U or Wii again.

I'm usually not too negative on Nintendo. I can tell you right now pretty much everything is too late for Wii U. Starting with the name which I hate by the way. No grown man wants to tell his wife, gf, or mom he is going to go play with his "Wii U". That just sounds ridiculous in the first place coming out of my mouth. Second the underpowered console wouldn't be such a issue except it lacks support so that highlights its also underpowered on top of that. Lastly they announce...

@smoking monkey. I know exactly what you are saying. It seems Microsoft has mastered the art of FUD. It's used so often within their gaming history that its actually a turnoff to gamers who smell bs a mile away. It's done so often I frankly find it offensive and outputting. The reason it doesn't work as often on the gaming community as much is because by their nature they are a problem solving analytical crowd. So FUD is often figured out right away.

Because domination. Ps4 is the Stephen Curry of consoles.

I know right? I feel like this a article that makes more sense coming from a blogger or random site not named after Xbox. Then it just comes off as insincere advertising.

Sounds like they should just spen d the rest of the time just tightened up gameplay. Fix bugs and tighten graphics. Shouldn't have to back change things to delay it. Then release this year coming

If I had to choose I'm hoping it's very good even if I had to wait a little longer. I hope not to wait though.

At one point I was one of the early Xbox adopters. i bought when it first released before many others even knew of Xbox the very first day. I remember my first original Xbox. It was unbelievable. Probably my favorite system ever. The first time I played Halo I was amazed. It had such good graphics. Could play music on the system easily and in games. Lots of good games. In fact that whole generation I never bought the PS2 I was so pleased. Until the very end I bought a PS2 because it was so ch...

This can only be good. The excitement I have for Virtual Reality is building. Please just be decent. I'm praying this all goes well so that soon games can be experienced in a new environment. I know if all goes well I will be playing in Skyrims open world one day or sniping people in first person COD. I will literally be able to stop and look at water or roses inside a game environment. I know that's a tall order for PSVR right away but if it's successful that is where virtual rea...

Me I'm kinda nervous. I've played other virtual reality but not PSVR yet. I want this to work out so good. I have a great feeling of this. The very first mainstream virtual reality experience. I can barely take the excitement of waiting. I hope they have a kiosk in stores. A few displays at Best buy or Wal-Mart wouldn't hurt. I'm afraid of being too impatient and pushing some poor kid out the way to have my turn to try it. Lol.
