Hurry up and give me the price already. I can't save up for something I don't know the price of and release date. At or by E3 this needs to happen. That's my personal deadline before I start to lose a little excitement.

I'll just play it safe always get the PS4 version of 3rd party games.

The Oculus Rift has much to offer. It's not necessarily the go to choice though. I automatically see PS4 as the best choice. You get a game system and virtual reality.

Of course it is. They'll stop advertising all their games as 900p from now on. Go with dynamic upscaling 1080p instead. I saw this coming.

I go to YouTube. I'm finding lots of virtual reality related videos. Just ready to be watched. They need to make this thing YouTube compatible, Netflix, it's own channel, bluray ready movies at launch that might use it. Everything. It'll take off if they do.

It's been around for 20 years. I'm sure us guinea pigs are ready by now. :)

I thought it was too @joeorc. I think the PS4 OS always had less space taken up. Was a little easier to run than the Xbox One. It makes sense the extra core was only there in case it needed to add any function to the OS. They optimized it and they had no need to add anything. So it's more than likely a whole core.

I guess some folks don't like the idea of exclusives being improved? Which is what will happen even if by a little. Smoother framerate, slightly better resolution stability, maybe a little improved AI.

Nowhere did it ever say half a core. You're confusing Xbox One's unlocking for PS4. Which gave no such information. PS4 simply said unlock the 7th core on its update. It didn't ever release how much of a percentage. It's also just as likely it was the whole core as it is a percentage.

PSVR is already seriously gaining mindshare among gamers and every day regular non gamers. There is a high chance of success if even a small percentage of attach rate to the PS4 console is had. Ps4 is headed into the 120 million consoles sold territory over its lifespan. There only really needs to be an attachment rate similar to the pscamera. Which is 15 percent to be moderately successful. I think virtual reality will likely be higher like in the high 20 or low 30s. That's millions. Mor...

They only need one to explode. Then maybe one will be able to hang around. It's akin to the dawn of console gaming. One of them has to latch on. Then the others can have a chance.

It's a nonstory trying to find something on the industry leader. There is nothing though. Ps4 has on a bulletproof vest. These shots just bounce right off. The problem is the critics are firing small bb guns. Sony has armor plating because of how well the machine was planned out.

They call it a debacle. I call it under the radar. I hadn't even noticed until this article. It's unimportant in the grand scheme of things the PS4 is accomplishing this generation so far.

The highest amount of traceable and verifiable sales data Will always matter more. Right now physical discs are the majority of sales. Until digital comes close to being the majority of sales digital won't be as important. That and having a reliable source. Not some estimates or inflated numbers.

It's a pc. There is no set limits in power is why. No set limits in pricing.

You may be getting dislikes but this is all true. I too am disappointed. I thought right now Microsoft would have to stronger hardware and stronger support. I thought Microsoft would use their wealth to back this console enough to bury Sony with a supreme console much better than PS4. Unfortunately they concentrated so much on things nobody cared about TV, online only infrastructure, all in one entertainment cable box, Kinect, a ridiculous amount of money into their controller. Everything exc...

I personally don't see any momentum that will get them back into the competition. Xbox does need to go ahead throw augmented reality out there. Their best games needs to release this year. Add Oculus Rift compatibility to Xbox. Then I think we will see something move the needle. Time is getting critical. Sony is about to release the megaton. It's best exclusives lineup, virtual reality, probably a slim lower price version. After that? We might see heavy exclusive support and 3rd parti...

It would do Xbox well to compete. We all know what happens once a console grabs a huge lead. If the lead is too great then all 3rd party and exclusives flock to it after a time. It's hitting critical mass levels already. The release of virtual reality is imminent, Uncharted is almost upon us, this is said to be the PS4 consoles best year for exclusives. We are watching perhaps the beginning of the absolute end where PS4 just laps the competition.

More confirmation the 7th core is being used by the PS4 lately. That'll be a decent little boost for some games now. A whole entire core opened up for operations is pretty good. I expect to see improving exclusives.
