This is teaching me a good lesson. I'm never preordering a game again till I know for sure it's full on content. Not this half finished stuff anymore. You can't afford making it finished? Stop making games then. Sell your franchise to someone who can finish the game.
Well my feelings on unfinished games won't waiver. It's a unsavory practice. Not everyone has the internet so you are ruining some kids experience with Street Fighter. They won't be able to get the updates. I completely detest unfinished games sold to anyone. Let alone kids who don't know anything about how to add content later. Capcom is on my list of companies screwing things up this generation. Good game for what is there but could be a absolute classic if it was finished. ...
"Not as flashy, not as groundbreaking". Then goes on to explain this exceptional tech is gonna be bigger. Lol. I understand hype new technology article. It's cool I get it. It's not more than a controller though.
Guess everyone is afraid of boobs now.
Remember Drive Club? Take that review and add one point after all the content and updates are added. Same principle here. Street Fighter reviews will all have to be taken with a grain of salt. Take the review and add a half to full point later. This is why reviews are becoming kinda pointless. They almost need two different reviews. One at release and one after added content.
Idk. Uncharted speaks for itself. Then Gears of War. Those are the favorite if you ask me. Mainly because proven track records. Then games like this and Horizon Zero Dawn are dark horses.
Another classic. Nothing but 9's and 8. Pretty solid. I'll pick it up at some point. I've gotta save up for Uncharted first. I'm also waiting on that PSVR price.
Two reviews. Two 9's. Looking like we got us a blockbuster already.
The electric touch parts that eject discs. The light on the side of machine. Touch sensitive power source. Form factor.
Exactly. Traveling to a digital world or in video in a whole new way.
That's just fear mongering. It's no worse than technology ever introduced for the human body. It's a video game. You put it on the head and play. Simple really. Not complex at all.
First review. Very good start. I expect lots of 9's. Consistent reviews. Not much up and down mixed results. First AAA exclusive title of the year? Did I miss one?
Could it really be slimmer? It's already the slimmest a console can be to start a generation. Maybe in overall size it'll get a tad smaller. I think it'll just be made cheaper. Cheaper things inside. Remove some expensive perks. Streamlined the costs and redesign it slightly. Then a cheaper version is there. Perfect really.
My dream. A utter beast in terms of technology horsepower. Graphics heavy, CPU heavy, physics beast, dual gpu or hybrid custom made behemoth. Seperate audio chip, SSD, high speed hard drive, balanced, easy to program for. It eats PS4's Xbox One's for lunch. It looks like a monster of technology genius. Plays like a Beauty pageant winner. Is capable online, can tap the cloud, VR adaptable, WiFi, hifi, surrounded sound, buttery smooth fast response controller. In other words it's th...
In the end it doesn't matter as long as virtual reality gained its foot in the door by the end of this generation. It could always lean towards long term mainstream success much like the rate of bluray.
You see. I just described a path that has many ways to success. Including many that don't include being completely mainstream this generation. Still a good solid footing can mean great success for the future of virtual reality. :)
What is mainstream to them? Do they mean this generation or next? I believe mainstream is a chance this generation. Mostly I believe they will gain a solid footing this generation. Then going mainstream next generation after gaining a foothold. So again what difference does it make? As long as it gains a solid footing. There is plenty of time to go mainstream after its initial success of gaining its foot in the door.
Microsoft needs to just focus on making money. Sony should concentrate on dominating. Sony should just put their pedal to the metal. Exclusive lock up, virtual reality support, experiment with new ip. Nintendo is on the right track. All they need to do is bat Sony and Microsoft in hardware strength.
Idk. I've been asking myself this question all generation.
The practice of unfinished games is gonna undo them. If they think gamers don't wanna play the computer? Watch your sales tank. I'm not putting up with these companies unfinished games anymore. I won't buy any of them until they are finished. No more preorders either until I know a game is finished.
