It'll have bundles. This isn't the Vive or Rift. With a console comes many versions and many bundles. It's not a mandatory accessory. Neither is the move controller. You can play virtual reality with the PS4 controller. They've told everyone this already. To enhance the experience others can just purchase accessories seperately or with a bundle. Its brilliant to give the mass market purchaser the option.
The more I think of it? I think I would have bought virtual reality just for the cinematic mode alone. 200 inches screens to watch games and movies is a television to me. I never owned a 200 inch television. I would use a small tv to hook it up to and just use cinematic mode for games on PSVR from now on. I might never game on my regular tv ever again.
It'll be a new format. Almost on the level of mp3 players and consoles gaming itself perhaps. It'll be a huge success.
Its the dawn of a new virtual era. I'm saying it will be a huge success. Everything released was masterfully planned. In fact I think virtual reality will have a huge impact not just in gaming but many aspects of entertainment. From movies to music. They have started off right opening up its capabilities to Netflix and regular PS4 games with their revolutionary viewing mode. Allowing everyone to watch entertainment on the screen equivalent to a movie theater.

Yes. And..... Last I checked Kinect didn't improve movies, wouldn't work on all games. Virtual Reality has a much larger scale than Kinect.
I see games and movies I'd like to watch in virtual reality. At that amount of time I'm planning using it is the point it is no longer a gimmick.
To me this is the absolute hugest story for virtual reality. Confirmed you can play every game using virtual reality screens. Which would give you Imax like level of gaming. Confirmed movies playable. Later it'll mean Bluray compatible as well. Which will in turn mean porn and virtual reality movies. This is huge. I think as big if not bigger than the price itself being affordable.

Mass market pricing. Sony knows what they are doing to reach casual gamers as well. Very satisfied with this price.
