I want Natal and Move to be good because then Microsoft and Sony will have to get competitive and we'll be the winners.
Prices, games and all types of offers means more for the gamer as a whole.

I've loved this game and you can tell by the 28hrs in and at 82%. I tend to wander, which is easy in this game. I saw things in GTA as a chore whereas this game is like Bully, all the things are enjoyable, story or side missions.
The DLC will ensure I get my Cowboy fix.

This is typical marketing chaps. Let some onions out the bag and we're all fuelling their products by talking about them. The mans quote was quite correct.

Maybe the big reveals don't live up to the hype. It is quite possible that they realise its like Xmas. After the hype, the reveal, the come down, your dilemma is the feeling of being underwhelmed because your expectations grew ahead of you.
I could also be muttering nothings but I can see reason because ...

Once they bring out some new maps, I will come back to play it but for now its Red Dead all the way.
I got bored of the same ole thing. If it isnt obsessive base attackers, its campers and then glory hunters. A team based game with the me in it.

I think many publishers need to look at release dates and be a bit more realistic about their chances. When a 20-30hr game like Red Dead comes out, do you really think anyone other than a hardcore gamer (or those with no life) will have completed it by now?
After I finish Red Dead, I will play Split Second and hopefully get round to Bioshock 2.

Games do seem to come out in bursts. They all release 20+hr games at the same time then complain about the figures. Well i...

I'm 10hrs and 33% in with no glitches so far. Maybe the odd mess up when killing gangs of outlaws and suddenly there is an innocent person pops up from nowhere, in the middle of nowhere and obviously gets a bullet or two.
I then become wanted.
Theres also picking the plants and sometimes you pick thin air but its nothing.

I'd say considering this game loads very rarely, I'm impressed. My PS3 version has been pretty much A ok here.

I love GOW but must state that when the 'other one' was referenced in the game, my eyes rolled, I tutted and thought 'oh no, its Dallas and Dynasty returned'.
I considered the little, how to keep the story open addition as slightly cheap. Reminiscent of the Leia throw in on Return of the Jedi.

I will stay open minded about the possibility though and if the story brings quality and a new edge, then I will be a happy chap. If not.....hmm.

I tend to stay away from articles like this because they're not worth reading. I should listen to myself in future because I just wasted a few minutes of my life reading ones tissue embroiled fangasm.

But in afterthought, I realise that this is like asking a Honda employee to tell you why they wouldn't buy a Toyota.

The same people will then say the opposition has no class. Fully completing the circle of irony.

irony ftw

Why don't they include an ipod app with the manual on it so we can at least read it like we would when playing the game?
For those that own one that is but it'd be great on my touch. Nothing beats the smell of a fresh manual though. Mmmm ahhh. I presume its an old skool thing...

I always read them but some are pathetic and you wonder why they bothered. Just look at Super Mario though as a fine example. Every time they have a nice big booklet.

So I'm not i...

Whenever I've visited the States on business from the UK, naturally I'll look for your game shops. Gamestop is the one I always see in the malls and I'm always disappointed by them.
Rubbish prices and store designs although Gamestops look more organised in the UK the prices are still comedy value.

I can't really make a full opinion on them but I do feel for you guys judging by the stunts they pull.

You know I was on PSN today playing some music on Vidzone and with all the music thats on there now, it hit me, this is free?
I'd say Sony are building up a case for charging but if its adverts and no fee rather than the Microsoft model I'll stick with it.

The addition of firstplay the e-zine is the beginning of chargeable extras but at least we're given a choice.

Yeah I'm sure thats exactly what the developers had in mind when creating Heavy Rain.
I can also exclusively reveal that God of War was based on Super Mario.

I loved the first one but there are too many games out at the moment that are consuming my time. I've still got Bayonetta, Dantes Inferno, Battlefield 2 and now GOW3 on the go its a good job I've got a week off coming up.
This is without even actually starting Bioshock 2 yet.

All this after MW2, Uncharted 2 and Assassins Creed 2 its like being in gaming heaven lately.

It will no doubt also still need add the accessories to get it up to scratch too. Hard drive, xbox live sub and possibly a wireless adapter (for those not on ethernet).
Then there is the charger for your controller if you don't get a wired pad or want to buy shares in a battery manufacturer.

I don't rate the motion control too on the 360 pad. Joking aside though I hope Microsoft do a good job on a slim, it would make sense, offers a revival or a rebirth like Sony experie...

A case of misdirection perhaps? A slim rumour leaked on the very same week a certain PS3 exclusive comes out?

Nah that would be too cynical.

The HD-DVD was good, a bit unrefined but still it was HD movies. The Blu ray came out with less options to mess around with but you knew it would get there.
Plus the noise is much better, when that 360 was flying with a HD-DVD drive whizzing away it was like a Tornado.
Neighbours complaining because you've had to max out the volume even on your 5.1 to hear the damn thing.

Still, like that moment you watched the Matrix on DVD for the first time, HD-DVD had some of...

I actually believe it will appeal to those that have a Wii or are thinking about getting one. The average person who doesn't care much for gaming, more a party or family night thing.
If they can get a waving wand with actual games that grab you for more than 5 minutes then its a winner.
The Wii becomes boring very quickly unless its a Mario game.
Eyetoy was a gimmick in the end, my little uns struggled to enjoy it.

There are also a growing amount of people ...

I think Nintendo bring out more versions of their handhelds than Britney has comebacks.
I see they have gone back to the original DS with this latest XL model. It is nice but if you've just paid out the cash for a DSi and then this comes along.

One thing that Nintendo have proved though is that the general gaming populace are suckers. Loyalty, gimmicks but the main improvements are at a cost. They're trying to beat the PS2 record though so you can't blame them.

Can I get on the store yet to download my limited edition VIP stuff yet? Oh sorry limited meant in usage.
I've dabbled in the online but I'm doing the campaign first anyway.

I got over my MW2 addiction a month back but this game is fun and more than likely will take up most of my time. Not that I'm complaining.
