SSBB keeps rolling it seems. I anticipate the tremors the launch of SSBB will cause when it hits stateside. Or Europe for that matter...
It still is quite a system hog, truth to be told, but I enjoyed it immensely with 8800GTS (320mb), 4400+ and 2 gigs of ram. Worked adequately for me (as in didn't slow anywhere in a particularly annoying fashion).
Have you ever tried Freelancer, or any mods for it? It's quite nice, and you can play with friends... though it's a bit too open ended at times. And it gets dull since there are only fighters and freighters to fly, without mods that is. But a rather nice game overall, in the spirit of elite.
Also, X-series? X3: The Reunion is quite good since it actually feels more simulator -like compared to Freelancer.
Depending on licenses and whatnot, approx. one day. Then again, if it's connected to VC... Who knows?
Where is Donkey Kong from DKC-series? First had DK after all... Also, what sidar said.
Umm... And who are you to decide upon a game which every gamer will want in this generation?
Don't know, but that would be total asshattery in certain parts of world, like Fennoscandia. For example, Finnish gamers already have to pay 22% VAT. That's a freakin' one fifth more, almost one quarter more to the price.
Pray tell, why should it be M-rated? So you can feel more adult when playing it?
*back to Master of Orion 2*
They really didn't like it then, huh? Don't know why, I find it to be rather entertaining... Graphically a bit shallow at points, yes, but worth 5/10? Nah.
My life as king could be going to Wii... but that's just my guess.
That RROD thing.. BBC did mention about it on their website not too long ago. That might've affected the outcome in general.
An addon to a system inequals a console based on motion sensing controlling. If they were to sell more than a handful of games that were to work with Eyetoy and actually support it, that could've been interesting. Now? Nahh...
MGS a mediocre game? Killer 7 a mediocre game? What, exactly, have you been eating as of late?
Update's an update, be it a minor one or not. A new HID's something too, especially since it was marketed as greatly as it was by Ninty.
As for Xbox and PS2 replicating Wii games... Doubtful at best. See, some games are build around the control setup in such a way, they cannot be replaced on either of those consoles, as good as they might be, without similar controller. Which they lack. With similar input system? Perhaps. But since they don't have an input system like that, they ...
Technological standpoint is an entirely different matter, honestly. Yes, Wii loses out in that department, and that's it. Though at the same time, it gets people to play games, even those who were earlier a) too frightened by the control pad or b) lost their interest by time. I must say I belong to none of these groups, but if it gets my technophobic father and mother to play, I'll have to applaud it.
Here's the kicker: Thanks to Wii, older gamers can actually be like "Ohh, I remember playing that game!", thanks to VC. Funny that, consolidating years of gaming into one vessel. It was actually one of the main reasons I wanted Wii; I've misplaced so many games over the time it's not even remotely funny.
If I call you a twat, I'm immature? Right. If I think you spout insensible crap, I'm immature? Ok. I know they were attacks on your person, but at least I don't go into "I'm older than you are" territory, which frankly, is the oldest and most tiresome personal attack one can do. Yes, I like ad hominems, they're my thing. Can't stand them? Not my problem. But if you do attack back, do it with style. I've applauded several people here who did attack back with style, and thus far you'v...
Think what SSBB could've done if it had been released simultaneously all over the world? ... No, don't even bother think about it. It'd be too much for everyone's thought capacity.
I'd like to think it's Nintendo who made gamers as they are today... Not the other way around. Duh.
Huh? What's with the sudden turnaround in Spain? I thought it was a Sony country, or at least as close as they can get.
