I just ordered disgaea 3 off amazon and I'll probably get this when I beat it. This game is getting waaaay too much attention for me to just ignore it.

Dude... The PS3 launched with resistance: fall of man and motorstorm. Both very good games. And later on uncharted came out in the same year. Well, at least in the UK, anyway.
I do think there were less titles for the US launch which is probably why the general perception was that it sucked at the time. Plus there were many good 3rd party titles out that very year, too. That would be cool, but there's no way it'd be free if they did do it. Would be nice if it scanned your hard drive for data from each of the cod games and then gave you access to certain old maps in the new game.

They're okay and, realistically, you shouldn't be able to quickscope but I think it gives more players a reason to use the snipers.
Removing the quick scoping was always a bad idea. It was the funnest way to play CoD4. I used to have private matches with just me and my friends quickscoping and no-scoping each other. I actually got pretty good at it. Messed up my kill/death ratio learning how to do it, though.

I'm glad machine pistols are back. They're very good backups for when you run out of ammo. I'm also glad one in the chamber is back for private matches because that was a fun game.

Farming this stone put me off demon's souls. I played this game for about a weekend and didn't get it. Plus there's the fact that sometimes it killed me because it is a strong enemy then sometimes it jumped off the cliff and I got nothing from it. But I went back this year and got it. By far my proudest platinum trophy.
