I don't mind sequels as long as they take what the original did well and make it better.
Mind you, there's nothing like a new IP. It's like a breath of fresh air.

The graphics in FF games were always way ahead (for the time, anyway).
But what I want is a story that sucks me in and a battle and levelling up system that is deep and gives me many options.
I want random battles. I want to be able to think about my moves in battle. Have it so time freezes when you decide your attack or something. And make the player control their whole party.
Give me a world map. Give me good mini games and side quests tha...

Yeah, that and all those freakin swords. I died a little inside trying to keep my tendency pure white in the swamp level so I could get some stupid brand that's useless in a fight. Not to mention actually beating black phantom garl vinland to get it.

I do think the "one game every year" policy they've been going with has kinda ruined their creativity with the franchise.
I'm not tired of it yet, though. The game is my "cup of tea" for want of a better cliché. I can't tolerate most other shooters. They're all just so frustrating and annoying in ways I can't really explain. I know it sounds stupid as I'm typing this, but what more can I say? I'm a call of duty guy.

I think the fact that they're releasing so many exclusives this year means they're gonna start working on PS4 launch titles next. And if all these companies release games at the launch of the next system, you can imagine that it'll be a pretty successful launch.

This sounds a bit like you're saying "I'm perfect, follow my example" instead of accepting the fact people are who they are and aren't gonna change.
People are biased: We're not robots. We have emotions and we tend to choose sides.
