Yes...it's insane. If you are stupid enough to pay $30 for a mobile phone game, then I truly feel bad for you.
As the current technology stands, mobile phone gaming is better left to small, inexpensive games that entertain for little bits at a time.
There is a chance for that market to expand, but not until a GOOD universal controller with ACTUAL buttons is produced and used as a standard for game creation.
I think we're going to see a big jump in lighting next gen and not so much in the resolution and texture area. I don't think there is much point in trying to push past 1080p just yet.

I really enjoyed the first episode. It's not so much a "game" as it is an interactive story. But it is a VERY good interactive story. The voice acting is better than most games as well.
I'd highly recommend it. At only $5 an episode it's a steal in my opinion. (It takes about 2 hours for a play-through, and you'll probably want to play at least twice to see different outcomes.

Plus with split screen, I don't need 4 TV's and 4 PS3's that make my electric bill skyrocket. SS needs to make a huge comeback IMHO.

I want it to give me the same feeling that FFX did when it came out on PS2. It literally drew me into itself. I couldn't put it down, and it looked so beautiful at the time. I just haven't felt the same about any FF since.
