If the Xbox or Gamecube failed, we wouldn't have seen the 360 or the Wii. Did they undersell, yes...Fail, no.
In order to fail it has to be so bad that your company has to call it quits...Dreamcast anyone?
I already bought Trine 2 on PC and It's GREAT. Much better than the first, and I loved the first one =]
Exactly. The argument about "what if a companies server goes down" is a valid one, but it's probably even more likely that I would either lose, break, or scratch one of my discs before the company completely shuts down their servers...Especially a company like Sony, MS, Nintendo, or Valve.
I'm going digital...Supposedly the downloadable games are going to be cheaper (as they should be). Also, I understand how some people like the physical copy but I buy all my PC games on Steam now and I don't enjoy my games any less just because I don't have a physical copy.
While I agree that I like that style better as well, That is more prone to breaking than the rubber flaps that they use. I'd rather have a little fuss, than having them break in the long run.
No one buys a console just for listening to music or watching movies (maybe PS3 when it was the cheapest blu-ray player)..
That's no different than a lot of phones and MicroSD cards...
Dealbreaker? Umm..No.
First off, it's awesome that modders are able to add MP to skyrim in the first place.
Secondly, it's a MOD. You don't have to install it if you don't like it. How can an optional feature be a "dealbreaker"?
10 games? Can you count? Most of the games on this list are under 1 gig or just barely over it...
More like 20.
Lol @ Bethesda saying that the VGA's are getting better since they won it's GOTY award...
Those pictures are all the same style that Pokemon has always been...???
They're rubber, so I highly doubt they'll break.
They could, but unlike a lot developers, CDPR still has a soul and care about their customers.
Oh ok. Ya, they're coming out on a flash based memory stick. Kind of like the DS and 3DS use. It's cheaper, eliminates loading times, and saves lots of battery. UMD is one of the reasons the first PSP had such abysmal battery life.
But doesn't that require a manual or picture to begin with?
What does that have to do with anything?
I'd be disappointed if manuals used to be what they were like in the late 90's early 2000's. They actually used to come with nice information that was in full color, fun to read, usually had some back story..But hell, now all they are is a black and white health warning and control scheme. I really don't care about that stuff.
Oh, you mean the screenshots that are so small in resolution that the difference is hardly noticeable?
I wan't even aware that there was an attempt to fix it...
Why would you buy a system, and not buy any games...
