Or how most technology works for that matter. There is no way that the new consoles will have cards rivaling a GTX 580 or 7970..those are $500+ cards.
I have one GTX 580 and THAT killed my wallet.. no way in hell I'd buy 3 lol.
I'm a borderline PC Elitist (still love my PS3 and 360 and even Wii though), but I totally agree. PC is the most terribly optimized thing for gaming. It is understandable though seeing as there are literally thousands of combinations of specs.
It really is amazing to see what 360 and PS3 can do with the hardware that they are using. You couldn't dream of games looking like Gears 3 or Uncharted 3 on PC's using comparable graphics cards.

The title is sarcastic. It's saying that the games and movie industry is doing just fine. They're continuing to make more and more money each year. Not the other way around as they seem to want us to believe.

I really don't think I want an uncharted style multiplayer. But something like Left 4 Dead's survivors vs. infected would be really cool.

I just started playing The Witcher 1 again. I love that game so much. The combat is easily the weakest part of the game, but it's so easy for me to look past because of how enthralling the story and setting is.

Hugh Laurie is as English as they come, but you'd never guess it from watching House. Good actors can usually nail quite a few accents.

I'd be OK with graphics not advancing that much if we could get some decent AA and 1080p, and some sharper textures. Geometry is OK where it is right now for me anyways.
