I've seriously given up respect for Direct X after seeing how good certain games look without it.
I remember getting windows 7 just for DX11 and then it just being a huge resource hog (tesselation mostly) and seeing games like The Witcher 2 using DX9 looking way better than anything using DX11.
I really just want a release date so I know what days to take vacation from work =)

My problem with everyone wanting their own online service is that not all my games are in one place. Then I have to remember multiple user names and passwords too.
EA is already making it hard enough by making me use origin. Origin literally makes me want to pirate EAs titles. If it weren't for battlefield that filth would definitely be off my computer.

Two things...
Azure is far from dedicated to the Xbox division. Not all 300000 servers are just for Xbox one games.
Secondly, while certain things can definitely be offloaded to the cloud (ai, weather, matchmaking, etc.) This isn't going to make either console some power house. Even if every single server was dedicated to gaming, that's still not enough power to push graphics past current top end gaming PCs. I'm not saying the cloud is useless....

Lol at everyone saying that PC gamers call themselves the elite master race. That's a name that console owners have to the PC gamers who act like douches. I've never heard any PC gamer call themselves the Master race.
Am I the only one around here who plays both PC and Consoles? Both have merits, both have weaknesses. Either deal with it or get both! But seriously, most of all...just enjoy the damn games you guys.
This thing is getting a lot of hate in my opinion. It's actually a pretty sweet little machine for only 1 Benjamin. I'm gonna get one and hook it up to my living room as my emulator machine.
Wow...he actually has a good point. Just off the top of my head I get Geralt, Roche, Triss (not trish =P), Iorveth, Saskia, Henselt, Dandelion, Zoltan, and Foltest. That's without even having to think hard.
The only other series I can do that with is Uncharted because I've played A LOT of it.
While I'm stoked for the PS4 (and I'm mainly a PC gamer mind you,) I feel like Knack was a terrible game to show first. That is something definitely marketed towards the kids who play Skylander's. No one watching that live stream gave two shits about that game...I mean, I LOVE Playstation, I've had every PS console to date, but that was just incredibly lame. The other announcements were pretty exciting though.

Lol at all of these comments saying how great these screenshots look. You guys do know that the witcher 2 looks better than these screens by quite a good bit.
These screens are a very early build of the game with unfinished textures, and NONE of the lighting or effects included (which the dev's themselves have said how much of a focus they are putting on them in this game.)
The witcher 3 is gonna blow people's minds I'm sure.

I do game on max settings. I have dual GTX 580's. My opinion is obviously the minority and that's fine.
I was just trying to state that I feel like the biggest things they tried to hype up about DX11, ended up not really doing that much to improve visuals without causing a huge hit to graphics.
Now maybe the newer cards (600 and 700 series) are much better with tesselation and the like, but I know my card is brouhgt to its knees by it.
