I can not believe how many people are saying a bad developer delays their game...
Am I upset about the delay? Absolutely, witcher is my favorite series HANDS DOWN and I'm bummed about the wait but I would have been much more upset if a broken game was shipped in February. A few months to make my experience all that much better my first run through is more than welcome in my eyes.
People aren't upset that this could be PS4/XBOne Version...they're upset that it might not be. PC users feel like they might have been lied to when comparing to the Sword of Destiny Trailer.
I'm only about 3 hours in but I'm pretty disappointed so far... Framerate really is terrible (playing on PS4), Combat feels incredibly slow thanks to the animations that look like you're swinging your sword underwater (they're literally that slow). Idk so far the story seems pretty blah but I won't really pass judgement until I get farther in.
The uPlay crap is ruining the game though...seriously. Chest's that I can't open unless I download an ap...
The games introduced me to the books. I think they're both wonderful. And I happen to be an avid board gamer so this product has gotten me very excited!
Are you kidding me? What have you seen from the Witcher 3 that has underwhelmed you? If you really think that ANOTHER AC game is going to be better than The Wild Hunt, then I feel reallly bad for you.

Why would you skip Skyrim for the Witcher 3? Literally almost a 4 year difference between them. And Fallout 3 and Skyrim similarities stop after the fact that they use the same engine.
On another note. It will be amazing. CDPR knows what they're doing.
Mass Effect? Really? I liked the games (A LOT) but I definitely don't think the story is deserving of any awards.
It's the Witcher and CDPR...the story will be good, that's a sure thing.
Hey what games do you play, because if you think the Witcher is trash, then you must be playing games from the future or something. CDPR is hands down one of the best devs around. NOBODY supports their games like CDPR does.

Buying the collectors edition for PS4, then also the GOG version to support the devs. These guys truly deserve it.
How in the heck is this game not getting more attention. CDPR has OUTDONE themselves yet again. Can't wait for the collectors edition to come up for preorder.

This isn't Ambient occlusion. It's a different type of occlusion, mesh occlusion if you will. It doesn't render the meshes that can't be seen, therefore they don't need to be rendered.
Ambient occlusion deals with lighting, not meshes.
A "little" bit more money won't be worth it. If you're going to play this on PC over PS4 then you're going to want a graphics card that's at least as much as a PS4..
Now, that said..I love my PC and I think it's well worth it, but a $500 - $700 gaming PC probably won't get you any better performance than a PS4 will. If you really wanna see this game outshine its console counterpart, I'd say you're going to need to drop at least $100...
It's not UE. For some reason it just seems like anyone that uses UE makes their characters mounds of meat injected with steroids. I've always wondered that...
It's a design choice though, not an engine limitation.

I don't see why not. I know I'd buy it. By now most of the old instruments are broken or dongles are missing and asking prices on eBay/and even local second hand stores or craigslist are CRAZY high.
I have like 5 rock band/guitar hero games for ps3 and cant play any of them because I'm not willing to shell out $200 for crappy used instruments.
