I agree, Chinese have so much lore that they can easily make some really good franchises.

I know what you mean, but I feel like Sony will have some sort of collaboration with Chinese developers. So if this game were to happen, it would be done in a more respectful way. I mean, Black Myth, we have Wu Kong slaughtering his own God, but i know what you mean when it comes to having an outsider come into you kingdom and bringing down the house.
Also, we did have a game called Asura's Wrath that dealt with Chinese mythology. So maybe it will work.
Thats fine if your focus was to sell software. But the xbox is a console and in order for them to sell consoles, they need to produce compelling exclusive AAA games. However, they keep shooting themselves in the foot. How can you expect to sell consoles when your AAA games is coming out to GamePass on its initial release? Therefore to make up that loss, they increase the price on GamePass and gate keep the exclusive to a higher tier subscription.
The writing have always been on the wall with Microsoft. Every generation, they come in third place. Even during there best generation with the xbox 360, they still end up coming in third. I agree that the CEO's money is totally separate. however, a company that is hemorrhaging money shouldnt be giving out 20 million bonuses. Sure, give him the salary he deserve but dont give him an extravagant bonus knowing that hundreds of employees could have been retained instead of being laid off.

Sony nor Microsoft do not set the price of a game. However, they do set the percentage that they take from the dev and publishers for having said game in their console. The prices are set by the dev and publisher of said game.
I usually wait until a price drop. But I can play by your logic. I rather pay $70 for a game that interest me instead of paying $240 a year for games that does not interest me. So what happens if you pay $240 a year and theres nothing great released that year? Microsoft have known for long droughts in terms of AAA and exclusives
