You're right, but what is more important, players getting to see game play footages or players getting to play the game for themselves? Sony have put out two of the Game of the year contenders this year in Horizon and God of war. In addition, they also release a slew of other games like GT7 and TLOU.

You know if you do side quests, the “urgent” story won’t progress on its own? Plus you do know, sides quests are optional.
There’s always someone like this author. I bet in review for a different game he probably complained that there’s not enough side quests.
At this point, is there anything that can beat or do on par as CoD? We’ve seen many FPS tried over the past 15 years and not a single one have succeeded in dethroning CoD. I am not a big fan of CoD, to me CoD is just another madden with guns. Same thing with a different paint.

1. Pokémon is a very popular name brand across the world.
2. Pokémon appeals to a larger and diverse (in age) audience vs God of war which is targeted at a more mature audience.

Been enjoying the PS5 since i got it at launch. Loved the exclusive games. Beaten Horizon Forbidden west but continue to play it because it is such a beautiful game to play and to explore.
I mean Sony owns Bungie, the creator of Destiny 1 and Destiny 2. So at least they have that.
The difference is that you’re not continuing to pay for something you don’t use/play anymore. Just look at Netflix, most people probably only watch one movie and forget about it until the next new movie comes along.
If you’re consistent on using the subscription, it’s worth it. But for most people, that’s not the case.
