This was inevitable. We knew this was coming because the cost of making games has increased significantly. Its naive of us to think that games will stay $60. Im just surprised that it took this long for games to increase.
That's rich coming from you. An xbox lover but yet support a console that havent develop and deliver ONE single successful High quality first party game throughout its entire two generations of consoles.
You will be surprised. Games are getting bigger in size and we all know that console dont provide you with that much hard drive space. I know you can just delete the game from your harddrive to save space and re-install whenever, but me having a physical insure that i can install anytime i want, even if they they take the game off their digital stores.
I try to buy physical PS5 games when possible. Physical add an extra cost to the developers. However, the fact that digital cost the same as a physical version of the game makes no sense to me. The only games i will buy digital are Nintendo Switch games, those cartridges are small and i lost/misplaced a few already.

it is also common knowledge that most consoles are sold at a lost. Its not until later that they release a slim version of the console where they make a bit of profit.
For console, its not greed. Companies like Sony are most likely selling the consoles at a lost. Most of their profits and revenue comes from software.
Nintendo is the Apple of the gaming world. Small upgrades that comes with a higher price. Also, their accessories (Nintendo Games) rarely goes down in price.

You know the high prices that we experienced during the Biden Administration was due to those Tariffs. I dont like Biden, I honestly thought he wasnt fit to be president, mentally. The war was started when Nintendo betrayed Sony and forced Sony to go into the gaming business. But some how the war ended with Microsoft being the casualty.
You should have this same energy towards Nintendo. THeir 10 year old game is still $50.

You xbox owners are in for a treat. This is one reason why im a big advocate for 3rd parties to go multi-platform instead of having exclusivity. So that more people can experience games like this.
