Yeah, it could have been coded there but disabled or didnt meet the right requirements for it to pop up.
Let’s look at this in a different perspective. Sony has all the data regarding digital gamers vs physical disc gamers. Right now, it is reported that 83% of gamers are digital gamers vs 17% physical disc gamers. I’m a physical disc gamer, but like or not, we are now the minority. Sony knows this and are making disc drive as an option because it will make the console cheaper.
The only gripe I have with digital gaming is, “why are the games the same price as physical disks?”
Im able to connect using my PS Portal but all my games have the "License cannot be verified...." error.
Its doing "OK" because the parent company is keeping it afloat. MS is doing everything it can to not let the xbox die.
"Ever Since Kinect..."? I think after the xbox360, MS didnt slip and fall. They jumped off the cliff and landed on their faces. Xbox360 had their fair share of issues (RROD). But at least they had some very good games during that generation. After the 360, MS have not really released anything not worthy.
I agree with you. But do you blame the fanboys? Xbox for over a decades have not released a GOTY worthy game. Regarding the remake, i think developers had a vision of what they wanted to make, due to hardware limitation, they couldnt. but now that the hardware is available want to released the game that they've always wanted to do. I dont mind the remakes, because its not a "must buy" for me. The way i see it, its another revenue stream for the developers. A game that is exclusi...
Its called a special edition for a reason. Its the same reason people go on SNKRS, stand in line at Apple, Rush to stores on Black Friday, etc.... Why you act like Sony is the only company that take advantage of FOMO people.
I think he's saying, "YOu cant be in a war if youre not competitive"
Nope, PS3 came out on top between the two.
so instead of 9 months its every 12 months with minimal updates. not sure if it made it any better.
Gamers are an odd species. We want the best the most powerful, but we refuse to pay for it. We complain about a $700 console, saying, "its too expensive". But then we turn around and buy A $2000 - $3000 PC. But when a company release a console that is priced reasonably, we complain that its not powerful enough.
Very odd. .
Of course it will rear its ugly head. Games are getting bigger, getting more sophisticated, technology is getting better. Youre not expecting the PS5 Pro to keep up with that did you? Even with a high end gamiing PC, you have to upgrade a few things to keep up with the type of games that are being released. Even the 4070 will soon be outdated. Why you think we have a new console about every 10 years?
At the end of the day, the PS5 pro is targeted for non-PC gamers who want both perf...

Sure the majority of people have touched a gaming PC. However playing a game on a gaming PC versus knowing how to setup and optimizing a PC for said game is not common knowledge. I used to play on a PC the constant upgrade and optimizing the settings to play games got me to the point where i didnt want to deal with it no more. People who are like me, who just want to pop a game in and just play, This is console's target audiences. So telling people to "just get ...
Yeah, but I’d they did, people will complain why sony didn’t upgrade the hard drive to a 2tb. People will find something to complain about regardless. Jesus can come down from heaven and people will complain that he looks homeless.
The people who are complaining are the same people who says, “I’ll will stick with my PC” but they don’t tell you that they spent $1500 on just a video card. Worst case scenario, you wait for the price to go down in a year or so.
This generation's console was released during a bad time. PS5 was released in the midst of a pandemic, most studios were put on hold. Games that were in development were stopped immediately. The pandemic messed up the flow of everything and they couldnt get the ball rolling again in terms of release good compelling games.
its a Chinese game made by a Chinese studio. Historically, Asians are willing to support their brethren.
I just hope that control more ergonomically friendly. Cant play on the switch for long peroids without my hands cramping up.

Its because games dont really sell on xbox. If you look at multiplatform games that are released, the majority of the sales are from PS5 and PC. Xbox is usually sell the least of the platforms. So developers dont want to spend extra time and effort to optimize for the xbox let alone trying to optimize it for the Series S.
