So you're ok with not get a pay raise after 15 years?
For the past 15 years, technology have advance, prices on everything have increased, cost of living have increased, by the law of economics, game prices should have been $90 by now. Im not saying im ok with it, im saying it was expected.
I agree, 99% of the times, The kids buying the game are using their parents credit cards.
@SenorFartCushion
Why do you think its "unjustified"?
This is usually how things work. If inflation didnt occur, we be paying a 25 cents for Mcdonalds meals. Inflation is the rule of economics and things will get more expensive over time. The problem i see is that workers wages are not being increased to accommodate for inflation.
I do understand that for many, price increases is difficult to swallow, but i can assure you that inflation will stil...
@Coolfool
LoL. So true. In fact, it seems like Nintendo games get more expensive as time passes by.
have you seen Breath of the Wild or any Mario games on the Switch?
Well, we can all agree that in Microsoft's standards. This is their best show in years. Nintendo did announced some big hitters (metroid). But Nintendo is nintendo. We as consumers kind of expect such games as that.
This is funny, have you ever thought Sony didnt "Run away". They probably felt their competitors werent worth their time?
This article is out of line, but its right.
from 50 consoles per week to 11,000 consoles is a big growth.

But dont you understand why a lot of Sony players and some Xbox players bash Microsoft? Look at the history Microsoft. Its just filled with mis-steps, false promises, 180's and more important. All talk and no action. The last xbox i had was xbox One. The only game I've played on that system was Forza and it sat there waiting for other great exclusives but those never came. Xbox owners went literally a generation without a great exclusive. Throughout the generation, they were sparsely...
The water splashes looks amazing. But I was wondering why is there water splashes on the windshield while playing in that view mode, unless its water splashes on the camera lens.
So the one question i do have is, if this is open world. how are races going to be handle. From the gameplay they've shown. I just see racer going the wrong directions, racer just dropping down from cliff and mountain sides.
So let me get this straight. Xbox game pass backwards compatibility to play old games is ok with you. But Sony remaster is not?
You spent $400-500 on an Xbox console to plate backward compatibility. But you wouldn’t spend $40-60 on a remastered game?
Great logic. Tell me again who does your taxes?
a little over 2 seconds to load compared to 40 seconds. Thats really awesome.
@logicwins
But most of free to play games you mentioned makes more money off of microtransactions. Yes, battlefield most likely will have MT too, but MT dont dictate your progress whereas most of these free to play requires you to buy MT to progress.
Sony did skip out on E3. But Sony released more exclusives in 2019 than xbox did in 5 years.
when compared to what we've seen so far with Horizon. Horizon makes this game look like its from PS3 era.
I dont think the author read the comics or bothered looking up some info regarding the two characters. If he had, he wouldnt be making this statement.
I hope they bring back some of the old Robots from the first game but allow us to ride them. I really really want to ride a thunderJaw so that i can take out that Tremortusk.
@Brutus83
I laughed harder than i should have at this comment. Thanks!
Yall need to chill out. It was just a reference to Thor: Ragnarok because the game is called God of War: Ragnarok
Budget have increased. games are exceeding $100 million dollars to make now. Before it was between $50- $80 million (AAA games). You also have to factor in other variables as well. Cost of living have increased, cost of goods and products have increased, the hiring of more talented and experienced workers. However, seeking higher profit margins is also one of the variables.
Just imagine if your employer never gave you a pay raise for the last 15 years. Would you be ok with ...
