Console sales do matter. The more consoles you sold, more developers will make content for say console. Just take look at the PS Vita, it didnt sell well therefore, not a lot of developers made games for it.

In terms of software, Nintendo have a good reputation. However, in terms of specs. We can all agree that the Steam deck out performs the Switch Pro.
I agree with everyone else, Nintendo could easily upgrade the specs of the switch and even the joycon. So i feel like they deserved the criticism for not taking this opportunity.

This handheld is comparable to a PS4/XBO in terms of specs. In my honest opinion, this handheld might be overpriced. This thing cost as much as a PS5 in its base model.
Remember, Sony just wanted a small piece of the pie in the gaming business. Like the article stated, they dont have any experienced in the Gaming business. So they were hoping to lean on Nintendo or Sega a bit. But instead of having a partnership with Sony, they gave Sony a violent shoved into the gaming business. For now, im will use my external 2tb SSD to transfer ps5 games back and forth. Once the 2tb or 4tb becomes a lot cheaper, i will upgrade the internal SSD.
But my god, the 4TB is over $1K. Thats like almost 2 1/2 PS5 consoles.
