But isnt thats the case for every Gen? Software support will be slow at first including first party and 3rd party, but once the ball get rolling everything will be fine. The PS2 era was probably one of the best era for gaming. But when they started to convert to next gen, it took a while and now the PS2, xbox, dreamcast, and N64 are the thing of the past.
Activision is just worried that they cant use the same COD foundation with just a different skin for the next Gen. This mean that they need to upgrade the graphics, gameplay, mechanics for next gen. COD is like the new madden, same game just different skin.

The problem with some Game Reviewers is that some of these reviewers or critics are accustom to certain genre of games. If you let a guy who loves playing fighting games review an RPG games of course the review going to be bad. I feel the same too. This current gen, it seems that a lot of developers are just trying toss as many game as possible out there with no regards to quality of the game (Madden, COD, Assassin Creed, Square ENIX, etc). ND, is one of the many few that actually put emphasis on quality. I feel that the take they best aspects of the PS3 and uses it to its full potential instead of half assing it.
Actually, I'm not in to games that requires me to level up and farm items so that i can beat the next boss. I'm the type player that is more into the single player campaign. Online is not my thing. But soul sacrifice changed all that. I find myself farming for items and more focused on the multiplayer. It's really fun and addicting. I thought it might be too repetitive, but I find myself forgetting about it and too engaged to noticed.
Same thing with a computers. If the internet goes out, you can still use your laptop or desktop as a computer. If the PS4 or nextbox is always online, and you lose internet connection.
