I swear to god Patcher is like the Dr Phil of video games. Always stating the obvious. Annoying as...an elementary school teacher using her finger nails scratching on the chalk board to get her student's attention.
When i first won the Wii U at work, the first game i got was Zombie U and the NSMB game. NSMB to me was no different from the Wii mario games of the past. But Zombie U to me was a very different game when you compare to all other nintendo games. It was different in a refreshing way.
Why does SquareEnix feel like they have to re-invent the wheel? This whole entire gen all we've seen were bunch of screwed up final fantasy games from SE. Fans ask for the classic RPG style games, what does SE do? they do the opposite. Instead of giving us open world exploration like past Final fantasy game, they give us a damn linear tube. Fans never asked for FF13 sequels, SE give us two sequels. Why? Thank god they are releasing the FFX HD which give us fan a sense that SE is returning...
The title was a little misleading. I thought video game was the culprit for the sexual abuse, but in this case it was used indirectly. Video game was a tool that the predator used to lure victims in. With that said, Any thing can be used as a tool such as, candy, money, promotion, and in this case video games. Like i said before its the choices that people make. I dont want it to fail. Its a great device and it should not fail. If Sony let the Vita die i will never buy another Sony product.
Regardless if it was made to compete with nextbox and PS4 or not it wont matter. Most consumers wont know the difference, because all they see is that the Wii U is the successor to the Wii, the PS4 is the successor to the PS3, and the nextbox is the successor to the 360. It will fall under the "next gen" category to most consumers eyes even if it is not.
It may not made to competed but we all know that when the ps4 and nextbox are release it will have a big negative impact ...

It sickens me to see game such as candy crush and angry birds get so much attention. But game such as gravity rush and soul sacrifice get over looked. Sony need to stop making ports and starting making exclusives for the vita. Give gamers a reason to buy a vita, don't give them an option. Why would any ps3 owner buy a game for a vita if they can play it on the ps3? Tell the gamers if you want to play this game then you have to have a vita. Im not saying infamous or patapon are not good. They are very good games. but the problem is these games are not universally popular across different region such as europe and japan. Gran Turismo is univeraslly praised and well known across the world. Almost every country that know about the Playstation brand knows about the gran turismo. Its like soccer of the video gaming world. To me this is a system seller, and this will help the PS vita.

For me Soul sacrifice brings a little more strategy to the game. I feel that i have to be really careful when to use my black rites, or when to replenish my offerings. the first time i fought Cerebrus, i was so dumb to break all my offerings. Thinking that Cerebrus will die before that happens. Boy was I so wrong.
The only thing that i thought could have been different is the enemies. SS needed more unique enemies.

I never once said FFX was not linear. It maybe linear but it was a great game when compared to FF13. It was fun to play and the story was great. It made the player want to complete the game for the story. FF13 the story got to the point where i didnt care any more. i just wanted to complete the game so I feel that i got my money's worth.
