Have you ever watch any sports football, basketball, baseball? Do you know how they predict how a team will do the next season or the following season? you guessed it, its through their past performances. To those who say pc is suffice. I'm not about to spend a freakin 1-2 hour optimizing said game so I can play it on pc. This why console exist, convenient. The majority of gamers are not computer literate. They just want sit down turn on a machine and play a game for a few hours. They don't want to spend that time wondering why ther is no sound on the game or why the color look crappy.

Totally agree with you and you made some great points. Its true that not everything fall under the A+B=C logic. However, the PS Vita is a proven handheld, it showed that it has the potential to garner AAA games. The difference between the Vita and the Move is that the vita can also serve as an independant gaming device which would attract potential buyer where as the Move is dependant on the console in order for it to function and it is just periphial.

They did take a big lost on every ps3 sold, so I wouldn't be surprised if Sony take a 100 dollar hit for every ps vita/ps4 combo sold. This way they increase the user base for both system. Increase user base will lead to increase 3rd party support, increased 3rd party support will increase high quality games and increase in high quality games will increase sales.

I hate articles like this. Do you actually think that Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft would not try to jump onto the smartphone and tablet gaming if it was taking over? Why would game developers ask for more power for the next gen console if what the article say was true?
There are over 2000 new games released for the IOS and Androids but how many of those are big hits? Tablet and smartphone games are released in massive quantitty but it is very rare to have one mega hit such as angry ...

Yes there is a rule, but honestly Nintendo could make it a lot easier for indie developers to self publish. How do you explain Sony stance on self publishing?
Majority of the indie developers praised Sony on how they made self publishing easier for them. Nintendo should use the stepping stones that Sony lay out because it seems to be working.
I love the cross buy program that Sony have for their games. But the biggest problem I see is that if there's a must have PS Vita game and its avaialble for the PS3, most people will buy it for the PS3 because most people have a PS3 even if it's cross buy. This will cut down the "potential" hardware sale of the PS Vita.
I think the best solution to get PS Vita sales up is by offering must have games that cant be played anywhere else including the PS3. Once adoption ...
I just spit my protien shake all over my monitor after reading the first sentence of this article. "Microsoft became the leader in the game console business but did not obliterate Sony entirely." I had to do a triple check to see if i was wrong about PS3 leading the xbox 360 in sales and asked myself what was this guy's point?
Just imagine how many xbox 360 would be sold if they didnt encounter the RROD. It just sad to see a console that is almost $200 cheaper...
