QTE event is only good for certain games. Games that is more focused on story is a good example (Heavy Rain). But if you were to implement QTE in action games it will kill a game (depending how much QTE). GOD of war was borderline to me.

Actually 7 can actually ruin a game if you look at It differently. For a game like kill zone mercenary, which in my opinion is a AAA game and its a $40 game and its for a Hand held. The only game i think you can use up to eight players on one screen is sports game. I cant imagine having a eight player split screen.

Isnt most of the games you listed are on the 3ds and not the wii U? We all know the 3ds is blowing everything out of the water, but the Wii U is not doing that well. Please correct me if im wrong.

Well if you think about it, Sony is used to dealing with mature theme. They do own a movie studio. They allowed quantic dream to make heavy rain but I'm pretty sure they're experienced enough to know when a game is crossing the " controversial" line. Microsoft on the other hand is a software company so it is a given that they will tread cautiously when it comes to mature content...unless they know that it will sell millions like cod.

I understand what you are saying and I agree with some of your gripes. however, keep in mind that games like Soul Sacrifice and Monster Hunters are a very specific type of game. Trying to change the game drastically will actually change what make these game so great. The game mechanic and game play must stay pretty much intact. The enviroment, story, enemies, and battle could be changed. A good example of a type of game that cant be changed are fighting games. Street figh...
