Yes it will take them a year or so to reach their full potential a matter of fact it might take them all of its lifetime. But these are the only consoles that you can play next gen games.

Well I cant blame MS for all this too. Activision has been known to be very lazy when trying to port games to other consoles. They are too cheap to upgrade to new engine for the Next gen COD. I cant understand the logic in using old engine to make games for next gen. They have the audacity to show off some AI fish and a damn dog touting it like it was the most amazing thing ever invented.
The xbone is not under powered. The reason for the $100 difference is the damn kinect. actually it was well known that the ps3 was slightly more powerful than the x360. difference is that it was hard to develope for. Another difference is that as the year went by everyone see the difference in quality between the ps3 exclusives vs the xbox360 exclusives and ps3 hands down beat x360 in this department. Is it me or the xbox one version is a lot darker. 35 seconds in I can't even see the guy's face because it was too dark.
I think it will not sell as well on launch but each console will sale over a million in its first few months of release. Then it will plateau for a few more months until the AAA hitters are released for both conoles. Then we will see an increase in sales for both consoles.

I think its hard to have a different color for the x1 because that neon green "x" on the box. Not alot of colors compliment green.
